Thats the issue with "data" to create games - battlefield publishes all the skins on the data of what guns get used the most. But that is not how games work, everyone is different and use stuff differently. Should larian abandon physical interaction just because only one guy of 800.000 used them to go over a castle wall? I hate this mentality of "oh the data shows only a few people use this, so it's bad" .
I miss the original ideas before we got so many reskins. The only reskins that were genuinely impressive were the original upgradable solstice gear. I'd love more of that.
They have been using the same 4 maps every since forsaken was put into the destiny vault. It’s gotten old grinding on the same 4 maps for months on end. They’ve put more effort into the crucible with the test new game mods feature.
I no longer play Destiny 2 - I am having too much fun playing all the 'good quality' games I missed out on while I was a 'slave' to the Destiny 2/Bungie forever grind machine. Bungie management quote that sums up so much. "We would rather put out four pieces of 5/10 content per year, than one piece of 10/10 content per year." So, Destiny players know that mediocre content is the business model for Bungie. How good is that? Bungie are corporate whiners that have a factory mentality, their business model is all about logistics/costs/time. Wow, that's not a recipe for fun times for players. Keep grinding lads the Bungie machine needs to be fed.
I put D2 on an external hard drive because having it on my system will take resources away from other things. Right now I am on Phantasy Star Online 2 both New Genesis and base game and yes, I can actually look like Skeletor on that game. Nyeh he he he he

Taking breaks always makes me enjoy it again, and if you don’t take a break the large chunk of your life that destiny fills is going to just be a bad time. Bungie's response really pissed me off, not going to lie.

Now now, Skeletor. You can't get mad at them for only being able to put out one PVP map, they literally don't have a dedicated PVP team anymore (probably because they were moved to Marathon).

@@davidmingle5910 originally I was really excited for a new Marathon game, since the story and universe are really cool. But when I heard it was gonna be an extraction shooter I lost all interest. I don't even know why they picked that genre, it's not very popular. Escape from Tarkov and Deep Rock Galactic are pretty much the only ones that have been successful.

yes thats actually what a lot of content creators do. They die off often when they start making new content sure but its always either that or what all of the ones who still play are doing: constantly complaining but they never even touch another game even when its trending. They can all go play armored core and be fine im sure though. Other thing is that content creators are a minority of the playerbase. If all of the other players who arent tied to that game quit and go play something better or stop giving money then the company actually might do something. The quit and go play something else/protest with your wallet argument is mostly for the majority.
Those are content creators, the vast majority of people are not. Content creators survive off of destiny especially when they are a destiny focused channel and thus to keep relevancy and revenue they must keep it playing. Most people do have have this problem, they can go play other stuff for 6 months and come back

I started my break from Destiny 2 at the beginning of July and in that time I've played: God of War Ragnarok, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Pikmin 4, and Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild I'm having a great time

I love these videos, and the delivery was funny, but I’m not gonna chalk the majority of the issues the game is facing, and the issues I have with the game to burnout, either. The core playlist is what needs some love atm, and if it doesn’t change, what good would taking a break and coming back do? It’d just be the same thing.

XD can confirm taking a break doesn't help it only pours jet fuel onto the fire because it let's you take a step back and REALLY see how bad this dumpster fire really is X'D and all I can say is boy is it beautiful finally seeing the whole community burning bungie with no remorse too yall 3 ish years to see the picture but hey better late then never personally would have loved the community keeping bungie on the edge after curse cause for me THAT was the sign that showed where D2 was going and behold I was right! Exp throttling, eververse hell for first dawning, and community Dead AF now here we are with that and worse
I have to agree with you, I'm not sure I'm going to buy Lightfalls final season. I took a break for a few weeks and seeing Bungie's reaction basically blaming the community as it feels like for Bungie's resent fuck ups....it makes me not want to finish out the battle pass for this season in a.... huge grind to 100 to where I know I'll hate myself if I do... Bungie's response really pissed me off, not going to lie.
Exactly this. Haven't played in like 2 years, but I keep up with the game to see if it'll get better and boy that day just never came lol. The day Bungie said they want to not "over deliver" crushed whatever remnants of faith I had in the game. The real kicker is how down right wild they were for blaming the players for not wearing that shit ass armor and then saying they magically have no resources for pvp. What a game 😂

Now now, Skeletor. You can't get mad at them for only being able to put out one PVP map, they literally don't have a dedicated PVP team anymore (probably because they were moved to Marathon).
Fuck marathon, Bungie is a wealthy enough company they could hire 4 more pvp teams and still have budget left over

@@davidmingle5910 originally I was really excited for a new Marathon game, since the story and universe are really cool. But when I heard it was gonna be an extraction shooter I lost all interest. I don't even know why they picked that genre, it's not very popular. Escape from Tarkov and Deep Rock Galactic are pretty much the only ones that have been successful.

I never understood the whole "If you don't like it, stop playing" argument. There are content creators who've invested 10 years into this game financially, and they're just expected to...stop playing?
Yeah. Because if you keep playing ,you keep paying, and if you keep paying. Well Bungie gets the message of "Well, if you are going to give us money, irrespective of how good the game is, then we don't need to put in the effort to make it good, do we?"

yes thats actually what a lot of content creators do. They die off often when they start making new content sure but its always either that or what all of the ones who still play are doing: constantly complaining but they never even touch another game even when its trending. They can all go play armored core and be fine im sure though. Other thing is that content creators are a minority of the playerbase. If all of the other players who arent tied to that game quit and go play something better or stop giving money then the company actually might do something. The quit and go play something else/protest with your wallet argument is mostly for the majority.
Those are content creators, the vast majority of people are not. Content creators survive off of destiny especially when they are a destiny focused channel and thus to keep relevancy and revenue they must keep it playing. Most people do have have this problem, they can go play other stuff for 6 months and come back

I love these videos, and the delivery was funny, but I’m not gonna chalk the majority of the issues the game is facing, and the issues I have with the game to burnout, either. The core playlist is what needs some love atm, and if it doesn’t change, what good would taking a break and coming back do? It’d just be the same thing.

After years of being Skeletor, I am glad to say I have become He-Man and moved onto Baldur's Gate 3. It may not be an FPS, but it's doing literally everything it has in common with Destiny 2 better.
