Does this mean that we all can reserve a one night hotel using our own amex card totalling 4 consecutive nights (I understand each of us will get a different room) and will they give $100 each towards dining for each reservation?
hello Phurba, sorry I have never tried back to back reservations alternating with authorized cards. I believe there is a risk because authorized cards shared benefit credits with the primary. However, with dinning credits (not the recent $200 hotel F&H credits) , they are credited on the bill by the front desk associates at checkout. There may be a chance they would just give it to you since different people are checking in and out. But they definitely have the rights not to offer those credits. In my case, both my wife and I are primary card holders with our own cards. Sorry I didn't have the experience to offer a solid answer to your question. You said you have 3 authorized cards , are you going to have bookings for 4 rooms in total including the primary? Be mindful that there is a "3" room limits based on F&H terms below: Limit one benefit package per room, per stay. Three room limit per Cardmember, per stay; back-to-back stays within a 24-hour period at the same property considered one stay. Participating Fine Hotels + Resorts properties and benefits are subject to change.
Yes, you have to book through the Amex Travel website under the Fine Hotels and Resorts listing and paid with your AMEX platinum card. When you check-in, don't forget to show them your World of Hyatt membership as well. Did you mean "super" high-end and expensive? Most of them are, but you do find good deals there sometimes.
