Magic sound I remember back in the day you would see the huge yellow nose emerge from the distant road bridge when they were heading north, then hear the roar.

It actually ran York -Finsbury Park - Watford Jct - Coventry - Banbury - Didcot arriving 2330. I know cos I was on it till almost midight

Looks like 55022 is back to its old stomping ground on the east coast mainline just like in the 1970s

Awesome power...fascinates me to think the engine idea started off being developed for planes, then further enhanced was used by the navy in boats before finally ending up in these amazing machines...BTW...how long has Ash been going by the name of "Alan", Rebecca ???
