      Your setup is smart! Looks literally identical to mine. Another creator sent me your video saying, “Does this remind you of someone?” I’m thinking about adding an overhead track system to mount lighting next.

      @@YHWHsCrusader oh that's awesome! Yea adding an overhead track system would be great. After mounting my first light to my basement ceiling I realized it's too close, so now I have to unmount it and redo it in another spot.

    Great tips Alex! Thanks! I actually just built a case out because, like you, I was tired of running back & fourth to the car, and I always forgot things! I like your basement setup!

    I found the best thing for me was to have my workspace and shoot space combined. I can shoot product videos, roll up my backdrops, and then walk 6 feet to offload and edit. Simplicity is key! Great video

    Great video!!Buddy could not relate more with you lol I'm trying to improve every single area you just mentioned. I'm lucky to have a small studio flat for myself that I can redecorate and adapt kinda like you did to my needs I just need to take action and like you said is never to late to start. This video is such a blessing for me and perfect timing. Keep it up the good work buddy. Salutes from London!!!

      It's from a brand called Olympia and it's their folding cart for up to 155lbs. I got it at Canadian Tire here in Canada but I'm sure you can find it or something like it elsewhere. You can try any of your local home improvement stores.

    Love the sub 20k subs creators! Sub 20k subs BUT greatly succesful film makers. Amazing insight, sometimes better then the current big channels. They just make content for views and try to be funny. But Alex, crushes it! Love it man!!!!

      @@AlexPerri “buy this equipment” to become a better filmmaker? Monitors and a desk make a filmmaker? What about techniques and lighting and angles among other more important things?

    • @AlexPerri
      @AlexPerri  Рік тому

      I’m really not too sure what your whole issue is here specifically with my video, but again I’m gonna double down and say it’s really sad that that’s what you’re taking away from this video. I literally made this video to help people. What would most people have done in my shoes? Affiliate linked everything. I didn’t affiliate link anything in this video so I have nothing to gain by anyone buying the same monitor or projector or desk as me. This whole video is about maximizing your efficiency which is a key component to being successful in any industry or job, and filmmaking is no different. So this video was never intended to be a technical skills breakdown to make you a technically better filmmaker. Also, if you took 5 minutes to skim my channel, you’d see a lot of other videos that show you behind the scenes looks at my productions, technical how to’s on filming b-roll, lighting setups, interviews, achieve better audio, etc. No one is forcing you ti watch this video or any of my content, so if you’re going to have this kind of attitude coming into it, my channel will definitely not be a place for you and the community will be a better place without negative people like you. Thanks for watching Cesar, but feel free to check out literally any other UA-camr in the future.

    • @cesarfernandez1276
      @cesarfernandez1276 Рік тому

      @@AlexPerri Too many "UA-camrs" push products instead of adding value. Products don't make great filmmakers! If the point of this video "was never intended to be a technical skills breakdown to make you a technically better filmmaker" then the title shouldn't be misleading. That's all. And no not negative, it's not personal or a shot at you, I was just making an honest observation that hopefully you took as constructive. If my delivery was poor, then I'll work on that. But It's okay to disagree so I am definitely taking your advice and for sure checking out others. In fact I already found a UA-camr that provides what I was looking for, thanks! I wish you nothing but the best and much success! Honestly! Take care. 🤝
