Hi Natalie…December birthday here too! I’ll be at the SoCal Fiber Fair Saturday…maybe I’ll see you! What I’ve started doing with sweaters is stopping the sleeves and body before doing the ribbing, place body and sleeves on try on tubing and doing a full wet block…that way I can do a good length check before ribbing and binding off…it’s saved me so much time and made me feel more comfortable that I’m not going to have to rip back, or take out bind offs!

I love your Book Club cardigan. I've been thinking about making it too. I think you need to make the sleeve bigger considering its a cardigan it does need positive ease in the sleeves to make it not a pain in the rear when you wear it over anythi g long-sleeved. Its gorgeous otherwise.
