I read Pet Sematary two weeks after my best friend unalived himself. It will always have a special place in my heart, (and on my tattoo sleeve) I love explaining to people that its not just about things coming back to life, its about the heaviness of grief and the ends someone will go to for someone they love.
Omg im early for once! I’m watching this over breakfast lolll ❤
Me too😂
ooou Creature Features!! Another favorite of mine. Got my 📝 ready!
My favorite Creature Feature is definitely Within the Woods by Tony Urban, its so good but I’ve never heard anyone talk about it. Also, I can’t recall if you’ve done this or not, but top 12 missing person books would be amazing
Your videos are honestly so informative and entertaining at the same time! Thank you
🙏🏼 😊
Loved stolen tongues, pet sematary, birdbox, and I can’t wait to pick up the spider book I’m terrified of spiders so let’s see how that goes 🥹
Suggestions:
-book Recs with cults/ dark rituals
- book recs with haunted houses
-book recs with ghostly/demonic possessions
-book recs with zombies
- book recs with asylums / psych wards
-book recs with stalkers/person obsession
You do such a good job with these videos!
Book rec suggestion: top 12 apocalyptic books!
My favorite creature feature is Don't Move by James Murray & Darren Wearmouth. OMG i was not prepared for the first chapter. It's a carnival ride gone wrong and then we follow a camping trip that includes a wrong turn, people disappearing and a giant creature eventually showing itself. I looooooved this book and it's blurbed on the back by R.L Stine as shuddering good fun. Don't take it too seriously and just enjoy it.
The Visitor would be perfect for the Xmas Evil in July readathon that starts tomorrow 🎄👽
Hey now! Who's doing this readathon? That sounds fun :)
I’d love to see you do a video for recommendations (books and maybe movies too) for Feminist Horror, coming of age/monstrous girlhood, books highlighting friendships between women. Basically - women!
Would also love a video on nonfiction books about horror as I’m currently reading a few around queer horror and Black horror and I feel like you’d have some great recommendations.
Could you possibly read and do a video of some books that have to do with people or settings in a psyh ward. Or anything with psychotherapy
"The Patient" by Jasper DeWitt and "The Devil In Silver" by Victor LaValle both take place in psych wards, but are very different otherwise, just an fyi!
@riomadre will check them out ty
if you like snowy, isolated creature features I'd highly recommend The Shuddering by Ania Ahlborn!
Love your videos. And may I say, you’re eyes look incredible, so big and bright! 🌟
If you like snowy monster books, you NEED NEED NEED NEED to read Devolution by Max Brooks
The Relic is not snowy at all, but a pretty epic creature feature too
Relic from the pendergast series is the best
Yessss creature feature!!! 🐗🐲🦈🪳
Suggestion: books about or with religious trauma.
here for it 💖
Love these recs!
Loved Stolen Tongues! So creepy!
great vid, thanks!
Video suggestion I’d love one of those reading tik tok cool girl summer books or sad girl summer books video💅🏽🩷
Added a few titles from your video. Eager to see how they pan out
My creature feature recommendation is Road Of Bones by Christopher Golden
Have you read Daphne by Josh Malerman?
You need to do a feminine rage horror books recs video!!
I’ve heard pretty good things about Nightbitch 👀
My biggest complaint about Stephen king is I hate all of the men he writes😂😂 I’m glad I’m not the only one
Well hmm. Stephen King does not suck. If his writing isn't for you, don't read him. ✌️😎
I like Stephen King too. But I was honestly shocked at how many people dislike him. Not the majority, but enough to be shocked at. He can be wordy sometimes, but he was the author who got me into horror, starting with Thinner, which to me was a roller coast thrill ride and I still think one of his best. And yes, I agree with Hailey on The Mist, a fabulous book and a very good movie too.

This was very hard to listen to
then don’t listen ?? turn it off ?? idk why y’all comment like someone is forcing you to click on the video. are you aware you have free will??
i’m literally just a person talking. i didn’t ask you to listen
