It's what it is Paul. Looks a good place. I like what they have done with the tiered gardens near to pool. Hotel looked nice. Food looked really good. Great the noise was minimal during the evening. I would stay there no problem. 😊❤ . Cheers for the blog 😊
This was a very basic room but everything you need, it was cleaned well. Food looked ok.Prica aint bad tbf Just spoilt by the weather. Rub lemon or orange on ya skin, said it loads of times but you either have ignored it or not seen but anything citrusy mozzies dont like ;)
I can handle rooms not being spotless, I can handle small rooms - I cannot handle, and will not tolerate, noise and hotdog sausages on a breakfast.
First ever hol abroad Hotel Don Juan 1984, somegreat memories especially Liverpool winning the European Cup, some great bars John Lennons, The Village Inn to name a couple, would love to go back.
Stayed in a hotel called la castella or something like that in lloret in the late 1970s . I remember it being a bit back from the front, it's probably long gone now . Memories of holidays with my mum and dad .
Just found castella hotel in lloret, it's still open but only a 1 star ! Looks ok for a 1star . There's a challenge for you Paul testing out 4 one star hotels ! If you do go to the castella .
Lloret de Mar looks like a good place to visit from the intro filming. Your room reminded me of staying at my Nana's in her multi functional box room 😂 definitely ok for one person and nice balcony. As you said the noise died down but if there was the potential of noisy nights I wouldn't be able to tolerate it being the wrong side of 50 😂 Yet again the price is extremely good, your food choices looked healthy and tasty. Room 321 and no Dusty Bin in sight, magnificent sir 🧐 x
Thanks Paul. Been watching your reviews for a while now. What I like is you review the key things in the Hotels that people want to know. I even check the Balcony review and if I see an ashtray on the table I know I can have a smoke with my coffee in the morning 😂…I know I should give it up🤦🏻
The location of the fridge is a health and safety issue . The elderly or people needing a stick or walker would struggle moving past it in the doorway . A wheelchair wouldn’t fit at all

I wouldn't be able to get into the hotel, plus the room was not wide enough for my chair.
Didn't think the hotel was bad, nice and clean two pools outside and one inside. Thought the inside pool would've been busier cause of the rain.

I'd recommend you take ear plugs and maybe headphones for sleeping that way you may not get distracted or disturbed

We went to Lloret De Mar last July for a few nights before our Cruise. Stayed at the Gran Flamingo Adults Only Hotel, it was fabulous ! along with it's sister Hotel Delamar next door. Fantastic roof terrace . Would defo go back !
What awful weather! Sun makes all the difference. I feel for tourists going all that way expecting typical hot and sunny days. I thought the room was very dated for a 4* hotel. I have to travelled on a number of coach holidays on my own and some of the single rooms I have been given had about as much spare room in them as the bathroom you showed! Solos often get quite short changed! Thank you for the review.
Nice hotel Paul ,, I agree the room was small , food looked good,, I noticed the chef cooking squid .. my fave !! ,, for the money u can’t grumble , I suppose,, another great vlog
The tourist tax is €0.66 for a 3*, but for a 4* it's €1.33 a night charged for a maximum of 7 nights. Looks more like a 2* to be honest though. Proper old school Lloret de Mar.
I have a kind of rule about these things. 75 percent plus, I would stay. Anything below that I wouldn't stay. Being disabled, and with the small room, this hotel scored 60 percent on my scoreboard. I'm not so worried about the lack of English food because I like to try new things, and they do provide bacon, eggs and beans which is a start. I suppose if there were mushrooms, black pudding and a decent pork sausage I might be more impressed. A proper mixed grill would be a delight too, but as they say "When in Rome..." There was plenty there I would eat, I noticed. As you mention, for a single person, this hotel might be OK for an able-bodied person, for the price. So my main concerns were the size of the room and the disabled access. Thanks for the review. I very much look forward to the next.

Thanks for the video, when i used to go to spain many yrs ago the safe was included in the price, this is just an extra money making thing, your room is basically to small for a double hardly any wardrobe space for a week's holiday for two people again not 4 star room.
Your food looked better in this one, but the desserts are still the same sweet and lacking in taste.
But at least everything was in the same building.
I would say the suitcase ramp was to save you lifting the suitcase up the stairs and could be used for scooters wheelchairs and people who struggle with stairs.
I once stayed in a hotel room directly opposite a lift in NYC would you believe the city that never sleeps very true, pinging all night then the trash bins emptied at 5 a.m. should have stayed in N.J. and took the water taxi accross the Hudson into N.Y.
As it was so quiet in the hotel in N.J.with an amazing view of the Hudson river and all that travelled on it, excellent hotel 😊

I would not call that a 4star bedroom by any means 🍻
The hotel looks fantastic. The only thing I would say is that the room is very very small. You've got a fridge that is a health and safe hazard. Can you imagine if you had to get up a brush out in the fire and you couldn't put the lights on? You'd probably trip over the fridge and be laying there dead. Not a good. That's a good layout of a room
Wouldn't class that hotel as 4* very small room yes it's only for to put your head down food didn't look up to much 😉 anyway look forward to seeing your next video Paul have a good one 👍

Hi Paul. That's never a 4 star hotel. Room was dated. But rest seemed modern. Odd. Maybe rooms need a refurbishment.

I remember staying at the Hotel Garbi Park in Llloret in 1983 is this the same place? looks familiar? We used to call it the Garbage Park as it was truly dreadful. Poor accommodation, rubbish food, and surely staff

But just look at some of the awfull hotels they offer , not doing themselves any favours .
They know they got you by the short and curlys , so they rip you off for all they can .
I used to go too Menorca 7 years running , after seeing they dont want us i will spend my hard earned cash some where else .

Nice video and it tells us all we need to know.I think 1 night is more than enough there - i didnt see anything that made me think it was a 4 star.More of a 3 star and dated.Terrible room and layout.Looked clean and the food looked good.

Location of your room could been better but although small least clean&tidy.
Not good walls being paper thin obviously going have noise issues not great least went quiet at bedtime had a good sleep.
Good facilities&good food selection for dinner&breakfast at hotel.
£61 half board very good value if I’m honest apart from noise issues hope your stay was good there many thanks sharing 👍
Think mentioned in one of your videos would we stay in those hotels,be honest majority hotels in Spain miles better than majority hotels in Blackpool look better look more appealing plus have climate& most times good weather just this week unlucky going there with heavy rain thanks again👍
Tried one of those Spanish sausages in Tenerife tasteless very bland right avoid those.

Very disappointing for a four star rabbit hutch! I would say the placed looked clean, the food was eatable. Down side the broom cupboard. 😮
Oh dear 🙁 room is very basic and dated. Disappointing for a 4 star. What a bizarre place to just plonk the fridge. Price not too bad. The noise in the corridors would be a no from me. On the plus side, the food, reception and communal areas looked ok. Shame the weather dull for you Paul x

Whenever I go away I take ear plugs so I don't have to listen to the racket people make , didn't think room and bathroom was that small tbh, it's the microphones you tubers wear that pick.up everyone else's noise which i not keen on, food looked ok but weather doesn't look good abroad at the moment ,
Every hotel in Spain has paper thin walls - take ear plugs. Other wise it seemed fine to me [if you removed the kids] No way is it 4 star - 3 - at the most!
Shame about the weather Paul, But its no good in the UK anyway lol, wasnt keen on this hotel TBH... i dont think its worthy of a 4 star from others you have stayed. over 35000 vies and only 361 likes come on people hit the like button

You pay tourist tax in porto of €2 a night par parson of which I don't mind paying because it goes into maintenance the bus and tram network. The price from the airport to Trinidad main interchange €2.60 bus and trams cheap compared to the UK. Many thanks for your video, but the room was very small, and the bathroom you couldn't swing a cat in it .The food is mediocre for a 4-star hotel anyway. Many thanks for your review. Bring honest about the hotel, but not 4 stars.

Hiya, yes I completely agree about the pool having a soviet look with the concrete and cool, colourful tiles, it also reminds me of photos of Pripyat's pool before the Chernobyl disaster 👍
I've been.better 2 star hotels in Spain. I stopped going for.hb of FB as was always disappointed I now just do self catering so can suit my self
