i fell in love with how this film reimagined minotaurs and my default interpretation of them has always been this since. that's how you know a film/creative team did things right.
The minotaurs are my favorite characters in the movies with the goat men coming as a close second. If I could have the costumes from the movie I would love to have them.
Russell Barkus used to be a fan of minotaurs in my top story, _Jerry Julius._ He tells this to his best friend Jerry while visiting the Las Vegas museum.
Disney should’ve kept the Practical Effects for the Minotaurs in the third movie. I think that the sweet spot for movie monsters is a blend of practical and CGI. The fully CGI versions of them look goofy. With today’s technology, you could have a dry wall camera cable in the nostril and either shoulder guard Bluetooth it to three iPhones inside of the costume so that the guy inside can see all around him/her. These costumes are incredibly well done regardless.
Old video, but if anyone reads this now- there's a fun fact about the Minoraurs in Narnia, they don't wear armor over their backs (which is evident when the General is stabbed in the back) because they never plan to retreat from battle and put their backs to their enemy, wasn't just a design choice.
And the goblins are annoying as well getting hit by there wooden taser like weapons, and the ogres i have to take their armor off,and the cyclops i have to hit them with the barrels.and the black dwarfs are easy to kill.
@@jediteacher820 Easiest after wolves. Snowballs are enough to kill them. I am also wondering how one of them shot Lucy on Ogre's Back with an Arrow and she was Perfectly fine with it!
Honestly the first movie looked the best, probably because they were hand-made and with effort put in, and the third looked the worse. Somehow 😂 My friend and I watched all three and I hated the third.
@@lastoutlaw3882 I'm so sorry, but unfortunately, we do not serve such a dishes here anymore, especially after that... little incident with... nevermind. Well, maybe you will be tempted by our latest innovation - Badrijani Nigvzit, right from the Georgian province? Perfectly roasted eggplant strips, served flat and topped with amazing walnut paste. Sweet and savory, even better with a subtle red wine. So, how about it? Doesn't it sound delicious?
Why though? They look real nice but I do agree CGI is more better and easier to control. But its the practical effects that really make it nice and clean and sometimes beautiful.
These are quite possibly the best creature designs on film. They’re so intimidating and beastly.

Love the narnia minotaurs. Simply one of the best reasons to watch the Narnia movies.
I always found the minotaurs fascinating and not a little scary. Love these behind-the-scenes extras!

My favorite film/tv design of minotaurs hands down coming from this film series.
I agree. The design of the minotaurs is absolutely the best in these movies, I also love that their costumes are done practically.
I luv that they’re more bull than human I luv narnia
This movie had such good cgi and effects. Coolest looking Centaurs and Minotaurs in all of cinema, and the rest of the creatures were great too.
The way the can be on both armies I also love !!
back when hard work makes good movies unlike now
can't believe this is the same guy in the LOTR 3 on top of the elephant
Oh shit. Never noticed that. That's so cool
Minotaurs are metal af

I love practical effects
The minotaurs were hard in the ps2 game because what you have to do is hit their armour and then kill them
Werewolfs were so annoying in the video game! And even it was hard to do, taming minoboar was a really cool feature

They should sell the costumes for Halloween
Beautiful suits. Were they made by Stan Winston Studios?
I wonder if they changed costume a little for Asterius in Prince Caspian? I know he was also played by Shane
lol, do they have any outfits left over I can hijack?
How challenging is it for Shane or the other people to work on a Minotaur?
My friend thought they were yaks 🤣😂
I want to dress up as a light brown minotaur
Is there no way to get a radio in there with a ear piece so that they didn’t have to yell
The greek intention of minosse look by the cow.
The minotaurs in dawn treader look different for some reason.
It was a different company that worked on the effects for Dawn Treader.
Hi 😐
There aren’t female minotaurs

I dont give a shit about these minotaurs as i love CGI or stop motion. So skip these old cheap practical effects
