@@Knox69420 Howard was the second singer in the video... and the band. Jesse was the band's first singer but quit. Howard joined... then quit. Then Jesse re-joined. It's like a soap opera.

i got so hype when this song and video came out.... fan boy for weeks (i got both my favorite singers in one song)
I still prefer “The Signal Fire”s ORIGINAL title on UA-cam, on premier, it wasn’t “Killswitch Engage feat Howard Jones,” it was just “Killswitch Engage,” because as I vividly recall the top comment was “This isn’t a featured artist, this is the most complete version of Killswitch,” and I agree.
For those uninitiated, Jessie was the first singer who had to leave do to vocal issues, and he needed surgery, then singer #2 was Howard Jones, (the bald guy), who led the band during their most successful period, and highest selling album to date “The End of Heartache,” but Howard himself had to leave, due to him starting to have issues controlling his diabetes, and Jessie came back to replace Howard, because in his words, “there’s never been a successful third singer in any band in history, and I refused to let anyone other than either Howard Jones or myself lead the band.”

@@hikariyouk True, but I was just re-quoting Jessie almost word for word. Granted I doubt an American Melodic MetalCore band, has spent too much to listen to a Finnish Symphonic Metal band.

I'll once again suggest diving into the Ren rabbit hole. Start with Hi Ren and enjoy a great artist that supports reactors and has a fan base that does as well. You'll get to enjoy a generational talent and not have to worry about copyright claims and you'll likely retain a lot of his fans with your personality. They'll want to see you react to all of his stuff. I promise you won't regret it

I think fans really overrate this song because their second singer makes a guest appearance. I think it's kinda mediocre for a KsE song because they have so many amazing songs.
And your grandparents might be okay with you listening to this. Jesse always writes really uplifting lyrics and he's Christian so a lot of it is inspired by that. He even jokes about him "trying to save the world" with his lyrics lol
And yes, the drummer is doing leg day. I'm a drummer as well and it definitely is a workout to play fast but luckily he doesn't have to sustain it for super long. I can play that fast but I've been struggling keeping it going for very long at that kind of speed (other songs like heretic anthem by slipknot keep it going a very long time and it's brutal). Takes a lot of stamina and practice
