Yeah, my favorite strategy train more (3rd) Archer than least footman (front) and a few knight (2nd). At the back, Cleric and Conjurer and 2-4 catapult.
ah the memories this game brings back. used to play this with win 3.1 and dos. Warcraft music always been some of the best, rather it be in WC1, WC2, WC3 or WoW, always loved the soundtracks
Played this on my step dads laptop on 1994 and I was so insanely hooked RTS games barely existed back then and it was so fun to build out my base like sim city but make units and summon spiders
Decrease music volume, increase ambient sounds, and focus on the mission objectives (just build 1 barracks and 6 farms). :) Great video. Thank you! EDIT: Peasants don't attack.
I may now have to buy these... I never got to play 1 or 2 and now that they've fixed a bunch of things... I'm inclined. I loved 3 and I loved these types of games. Thanks for posting. I'll check your content and decide later! This one seems fantastic though!
It is another example that Blizzard actually can make a decent remasters. How can they fail with Reforged is beyond me? Yet StarCraft 1 Remastered, Diablo II Resurrected, Warcraft: Orcs and Humans Remastered and Warcraft II Remastered were pretty decent and interesting.
Yep, more please.!! That 2nd mission could've had a more clear objective, were you supposed to wait for the Orcs to come to you, or go hunt them; or both as you ended up doing..?
No, this are the original ones. But in the past, depending on your soundcard, it sounded very different. Because the music was MIDI based and interpreted by the sound card.
It's not just from the early 90s, it was actually the second ever RTS. Even then, the first one (Dune) had some differences that would keep it out of the category today. Warcraft 1 was the game that made the mistakes later games would learn from.
I was playing this again last night for the first time in decades. You need to build a lumber mill to make archers.
Archer yes! and upgrade the arrows 4 archers at the base and get your goon squad hunting down enemies 3foot 3archer should be a good squad
i clicked on this video faster than any other in the last 3 months 🤩

I was not gaming when this came out and its very cool to see it being played today. Nice Video!
Looks good. I want more strategic Rambles 👍
Oh the nostalgia, great vid 👍
This was fun to watch :) hope you keep this recorded series going. I might try this game out
ive played age of empires but never tried warcraft
This came out before I was born so this is very interesting to watch. I will have ”yes my lord” stuck in my head for the next day or so😂
this game brought my love for RTS games, my life was forever changed that day in 1995 when my dad had shown it to me..

The lumber mill unlocks the archers. You had the tech the whole time, you just never built it.

You came so close to another mine :)
On the first mission.

I have to live vicariously through you, for the first two games are PC-only.
I remember my friends brother use to play this when I was in Standard 2 on his Intel Pentium PC
Great! Well done.

Did they reinterpret the Soundtrack? God Damn, it sounds awesome!

Is this an offline gameplay ? Or I say is it offline playable anywhere ?
Help there's no option for updated graphics!
So it begins...
Lol, this game is rough. is there no attack move? no auto attack?

HE IS ....RETRO-BERT
POT OF GOLD would have solved all those resource problems lol
lol do they have an option to mute the constant.. "YES!? MY LIEGE!? SIRE!?" everytime you move them xd
but that was one of the game's greatest charms back then :(
Wow, its almost like taking your town defense and go exploring wasnt one of the clearly marked objectives or something.....
Shoulda farmed trees from around gold mine and not open up your natural tree wall defense.
Music too loud, lets turn it up.
music is absolutely 150 percent fine.
