Railfanning Between Effingham IL and Centralia IL 7 10 2024 FT IC and ATSF B40-8W!

On July 10th, I started making west towards Kansas City to pursue a railroad conductor certificate. I made a stop on the CN ex (IC) mainline to get some action. We also stop in Centralia to get a super rare ex ATSF B40-8W working a local as well. Tons of interesting trains are seen. I did not stay the whole day as later on that night I went to the St Louis Cardinals game. But still we caught 10 trains

Train 3: Northbound Amtrak Train 390 heading for Chicago IL
Location Kimmundy IL
Train 4: Southbound Union Pacific empty Auto Rack train. This train was huge.

Train 5: Northbound Canadian National mixed freight train M396 with a thundercab M-2 leading!
Train 6: BNSF yard job with a classic ATSF B40-8W working the train and a nice RS3L horn
Train 7: Southbound Canadian National mixed freight train A408 heading to work the yard with a pair of IC SD70s!
Train 8: Southbound Amtrak Train 391 heads for Carbondale IL
Train 9: Southbound Canadian National mixed freight train A432 heading for Memphis TN
Train 10: Southbound BNSF loaded coal train with a great lashup consisting of a H2 and a Thundercab ace
