Yay, I made it! Loved every second. Friday my hubby and I drove up to Portland, Maine..about 2.5 hours from where I am in Ma. To see our favorite band Carbon Leaf. They are from Virginia on tour. Saturday we had another concert, but way closer. The Steel Wheels from Virginia lol. First time seeing them. I was blown away. Found out they support NAMI too! Wonderful mental health program. Anyway, thanks again for keeping me company!-Shells
Great WIP & Chat. Beautiful canvas... I have small canvases I do in between my big ones, but I have a LOT of big ones. I love big detailed images so love confetti because I know it's what provides that detail in the image. I can't wait to see your DAC stash. I have a large stash as well. I pull out the sticker sheets and keep them in sheet protectors in binders so I can easily see what I have and then manage my full inventory with an excel file. Take care, looking forward to your next video!
Forgot to say I am looking forward to seeing your progress on this canvas!!! Love your positive attitude with the confetti...I dont mind confetti...just one square at a time. I do smaller areas when doing confetti.
@LazyRetiredGranny0718 I don't mind color changes and I do try to stay positive about it. I do get board when there is too much color blocking also. I think there needs to be a balance of both and it keeps my interest.
lol Yep I was still here at 2hrs and 21 minutes when you asked what Diamond Dotz I have....I am going to do a stash video of all my DD. I have a lot! I will let you know when I do one...I try to keep people updated on what is on my agenda for diamond painting. I am really having a hard time deciding what to do next with alll the beautiful canvases I have! I am going to do the small DD for the holidays. I will mention it on my wip and chat. I enjoyed your wip and chat, even though it took me a couple of days to get through haha! I love the longer wip and chats! Big hugs my diamond daughter! You are really doing so well on your new adventure being a content creator!
@LazyRetiredGranny0718 I'm excited to see your Diamond Dots stash. It is always hard to choose what to do next. I'm so glad you made it through my WIP and chat. It was a long one lol. I look forward to your WIP and chats every day. Hugs to you and Ellie. From your Diamond daughter Autumn. P.S. I don't think I've ever heard you call me amber but I have been called that before and it's ok, it doesn't bother me.
I am new. I heard about about your channel from Lazy Retired Granny. I’m in Tennessee. Dona Gelsinger is one of my favorite artists too. I bought Christmas Cabin for the same reason you did. I already have lots of Christmas paintings and to me, this was more seasonal. I enjoy watching/hearing you working on it. I haven’t kitted mine up yet. I may have to wait until January. Thanks for the wip and chat.
Thank you so much for your wip and chat! I really enjoyed it! I'm sitting here working on a Christmas mystery painting by the same artist that you are working on. It is loaded with confetti! Mystery and confetti are a really hard combination. Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
@conniediane2702 wow! A mystery and lots of confetti? That sounds like it would be a bit harder and take more concentration. Im so glad you liked my WIP and chat. It took me a long time to film and upload that one. I like doing them though. I hope you have a great weekend too.
I heard about you from Lazy Retired Granny. This is the first time watching you and I really am enjoying it. Will be watching you more. I am in Indiana and I am pretty new to diamond painting and love it.
I’m just getting into this. Been a bead weaver for 20 years :-) can you talk about the paper you are using to cover your wip? I see other channels and I have not learned about what you use for the larger items.
@sadienadeau7903 Hello! They are release papers from craftswithcrashley on etsy. Everyone does it a little differently. Some people just use washi tape to section off parts of the canvas. I use release papers and remove them as i work up the canvas. I can talk about it on my next video. I'm not sure if I answered your question, please let me know.
I love the Christmas cabin
It is so beautiful 😍
