Turkey day and that frame were meant for each other! It's so good. I love him! Your fabric is the perfect fall/thanksgiving vibe and I wouldn't change a thing. Congrats!
Amazing turkey finish! He looks so good in that frame! It's my partner's family tradition to make pierogis for Thanksgiving, so I understand the appeal of having a non-traditional Thanksgiving meal. I hope you have a fabulous and relaxing Thanksgiving Helen!
Hi Helen great episode as usual 😊😊 I’m stitching on 20ct Aida using Kathy Barrick’s tombstone chart to fit on the tombstone my friend picked up for me. Happy Stitching 😊 1 2 best wishes Natalie x
That gravestone is so beautifully done! I love the use of something very random like that, I would never have thought of that. 1 and 2 both patterns are awesome and I love all your videos! I get excited when a new one pops up!
Great video! Will hunt up your previous ones. The turkey is amazing. Love your glasses. What a great idea on how to make a stand up. Can't wait to see more.
Love the finish on Turkey Day, the frame is perfect. I watched your tutorial for the stand up, many thanks, I will be doing this finish on a few of my projects, which I get around to finishing them. 1, 2.
Great finishes, Helen, and I love the frames you used, they're so perfect. Thank you for sharing another great stitchy update and I always love and appreciate your tutorials, thank you so much for doing those. 1
Great video Helen! The woodlands critter chart is adorable! If I do it I will use your tutorial. Turkey Day is amazing! An 8x10 is perfect and the fact that you got the exact frame for 2.00 bucks. WOW! I gave up coloring my hair about your age too. 😁 Happy meatballs and noodles over gravy day. 1, 2
I so enjoyed your FlossTube. Jen Allee from Bougie Stitchers is working on finishing the same turkey. She changed the color of blue as well. I have not started mine yet. I love your finish of it as that frame is perfect. Your other finish is great as well. I love the fabric in it, your stitching and your finish. I am not sure what I am going to work on next with exception of an ornament for an exchange. Looking forward to see what all you start. 1 & 2.
Your Turkey is beautiful and the frame is perfect. If you want to cover up the nik’s and dings, you can use brown shoe Polish on a soft rag. It’s a trick that my uncle used often when refinishing antiques which he did for many years. It also works if you get a scratch in a table top too. Our thanksgiving is quiet too and meatballs and gravy sounds great to me!😊 1 - 2
Love your tiered tray stand up and the turkey. The frame was perfect for it. I finished my Mill Hill turkey. Boy, he had a lot of beads! I am not going to get my Imaginating turkey done this year. It is too big and i want to stitch on my Christmas projects. 😊
#1, #2. Your stitching is beautiful. I responded early about the Turkey. The cauldron was an interesting choice (beautiful) for fabric, but yours was awesome! Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Have fun stitching!
I love turkey stitching! Yours came out beautifully, perfect frame. I have done one of the tombstone charts from Kathy B., one of my favorite finishes for Halloween this year. 1
A lovely finish on your turkey. I went to the Crafty Grimakin today and that is the first thing I saw that was in display. I’ve never cross stitched a turkey before but that chart is adorable. 1, 2
Love your FFO turkey, great job! Christmas in July, how fun. We normally cook a least one turkey during the summer on our BBQ but not the traditional sides. Enjoy whatever you do this Thanksgiving. 1
Happy Thanksgiving! Your meal sounds great. We have a small family: 2 daughters, one married with a 12 year old son. This year we will all be together so we will have the traditional turkey meal but on alternate years when it is just the three of us we simplify the meal. One year we just had our favorites - sides and pies.
Your turkey looks great…love the frame! I started mine at Stitch NE and have been stitching on it a lot to get it done for Thanksgiving. 3 leaves left to do on the bottom and it’s done. Your finish on the woodland animals is adorable. Thanks for sharing how you finished it. Happy Thanksgiving!
1,2. Love how the turkey turned out.♥️ Being older than dirt, kids grown with their own plans, we plan to clean out the Banquet TV Dinners at the grocery. One each for the meal and all the others are "leftovers".😊 Have a wonderful day.
Helen can't believe it's been 2 weeks time sure is flying by! Your turkey turned out so cute. I love him❤I am working on my snowman for the spool finish. He's also cute! I got a couple more patterns from her so I can switch them out. Great idea! Thank you have a Happy Thanksgiving
