One of the most important things I’ve done in my early 20s is allow this very attractive lady to be my roommate. She was 7yrs older and wiser. She is a thinker and writes books. I told her “I’m clearly attracted to you but I accepted you as a roommate because I want to see if I can live with you and have my sxul urges under control”. Long story, I learned so much from her and I can now easily read women. Women communicate more in subtle ways. Fellas, not every woman you meet is for play. They are your highest asset if you can see it. I hope you understand.

Me & my wife had an organic energy from day 1. I think in a progressive way & my wife thinks in a progressive way & that’s what attracts me to her. We still have the same chemistry in every aspect of our relationship. Our sexual attraction to each other is exactly the same from 14 years ago. Our conversations are more stimulating now because we’ve grown more. Our bond is strong & we’ve been able to grow because our happiness comes from our ability to understand one another.

That resonated with me so much, it’s been days since I listened & I’m still blown by it. I’ve always railroaded & overbear on men… until I realised when she said this that there is one man I never act a fool with. I turn into this little soft, happy baby. He’s 15 years older than me & has his shit entirely together. Well respected by his family, peers & the community. This made me see that I am at my absolute worst with men that do not own their masculinity.
With these men I turn hard & aggressive because they cannot tame me. I don’t need that kinda space 😅. Be a man so I don’t need to fill the gap, & fill it badly.

Because this is the one space where I think it is necessary to live it out of you are going to teach it! Now before anyone goes left let’s be clear I’m not saying you have to be married to understand men, femininity, etc…..but there is a lot of practical experience that needs to be applied to this type of teaching, and you need to be married to have that.

While I fully appreciate the the information and high level conversations 19 Keys is providing to the culture. I feel compelled to express that masculinity and femininity are on a spectrum, like many other forms of duality. How someone expresses themselves is unique unto them and should not disqualify them from being included in the conscious movement. As a fluid human being, my presentation varies as I ebb and flow. Individual Fashion sense is often influenced by other subcultures with which we identify, for example Rock N Roll and Soul musicians have historically been eccentric. From Jimi Hendrix, to Prince, George Clinton, Andre 3000 and Busta Rhymes. It is important to always remember we are NOT monoliths. There are East African tribesmen who adorn themselves with elaborate hair and make up as a part of their mating rituals.
It was acknowledged on another episode with Kaba Kemene their is both masculine & feminine in each of us by birth. It’s human nature. If we are truly going to honor the Creators creations than we must liberate ourselves from judging individualistic creativity. I know extremely masculine men who sometimes wear nail polish. It is an extension of their personal rebellion, artistry and freedom. Let’s not forget the short shorts we’re normal in the 70’s and 80’s. Watch vintage NBA games or any professional sportsmen from that era and you’ll see how prevalent it was stylistically. So let’s not condemn “hoochie daddy” shorts because plenty of cisgender women find them attractive, especially when a man possesses a fit, toned, muscular physique. Self awareness and enlightenment is for everyone regardless of their personal aesthetic choices. Peace and Blessings Family! 🙏🏾

Dope conversation. I recently attended the funeral of my black male mentor. He was an extraordinary man married to a beautiful black woman for 38 years, and their union birthed 3 adult children - 2 men and 1 woman. Both sons were married. The daughter (a black woman) was single. When my mentor's best friend spoke, he joked about how they tried to really prepare their sons to be husbands. And how they raised their daughters to "not need a man". Biggie said the same thing in the song "sky is the limit".
My point is that men raising daughters need to be aware of the contribution they are making to the imbalance in black female feminity. Our trauma puts us in survival mode, forcing us to shield our children from life (in this case, scary men that they either were or saw). But to shield your child from life results in a shield from living. The responsibility of showing healthy dynamics between men and women starts early, and must be done with an intention to prepare, not just protect.
An overemphasis on the latter creates hard women confused about how to use their feminine and masculine energy in healthy ways.

Omg! She is speaking on what I feel in my heart. I married for the second time and I still lack peace with my partner. As i get older i realized it’s hard for me to be feminine when I don’t trust the man I’m with. This conversation is so powerful. Everything that is described as healthy masculinity I don’t have in my partner. I keep choosing men that resemble my father. I couldn’t trust my father as a child and now as an adult I can’t trust my partner. As I learn and grow I’m realizing I want more out of my partner and in life in general. Thank you for this conversation.

I knew the episode was gon be valid in the first minute. That “to each his own” is not to be used as lightly as we use it some individual choices/preferences are perfectly fine but a lot of the habits/trends we have developed do not serve us in the grand scheme. Everyone feeling like they can do whatever they please and have a support group/audience for it is exactly what has us so misguided and not unified rn.

Wonderful conversation!! I love learning!! Blessed living “soft life” happily married to my first love(33yrsnow) we like being in love, respect, working together raising family, growing into life together. Traditional family-raised sons- now assisting with grandchildren!!! I was raised in traditional family-mom&dad married60yrs…we understood the importance of exposure to important things. I make no decision without conferring with my KING. When you have a man trustworthy & leading you want to follow. We both have joked over the years that “we raised one-another to be wife/husband….we grew up in same area so we were “childhood” friends who grew into Love. We are both “well loved”-spoiled!! My life is a “testimony “ (bookswritten/notyetpublished) We have spoke things into existence from our youth! And know our earthly power in marriage…(standonit). Vows/commitment/covenant same thing. Marriage takes work daily. Give & Give again.

Of all of the men who I’ve watched speak on the Black dynamic, 19 Keys is by far the best. I love his perspective and also his ideas for how we move forward together. I also love his guests! They always bring great insight and he is intentional about who he has these high level conversations with, because seriously who would even want to watch a man speak on women with no woman present or vice versa? I Love these High LVL Conversions. This is a great topic & it pertains more to the people raised in poverty of lower class communities in the world. Where most men and women with broken mentalities come from. So with that being said I wish you would have spoken on MENTAL HEALING because that is what is needed before we will ever see Men & Women in the lights you speak. They need Mental Healing and Reprogramming. That's a HIGH LVL CONVERSION by itself.

Love this. I keep listening to this over and over again. Each time I pick up another gold nugget. All ages can learn from each other. No one has all the answers and we're never too young or old to learn. It is such a blessing to hear from the feminine and masculine perspective. What I realized is that there are a lot of things that I do in love gracefully. Those few things that I do that get under his skin make the things that I do in love...null and void. I'm taking a look in the mirror and evolving. Thank you for sharing your wisdom bro & sis! Keep up the life changing work!

This was heavy yet therapeutic at the same time. Knowing that I've dabbled in both sides of the matrix, as well as cater to a man, while learning how to love myself - it's a journey that many of us had to face in our community. Nothing beats assisting a masculine man. The energy that is transmuted between both souls is beneficial yet invigorating. #freeasf

Yeah I think it's when the lady said sometimes she gets drained after doing all that for the men she dates, it definitely sounded like she's not getting that energy reciprocated. When I was younger I was that way until I realized I was allowing people to leach off of my energy. So yes, the soft life can be a beautiful thing but you don't lose yourself in sharing that the wrong person.

This has been really good. Personally, I feel there is this obsession with women being "nurtures" . Like it's our default position at all times and it's our main thing that we bring to the table. I feel this take away from men being " nurtures " because the focus is always on women playing this "role". I feel we need to be careful of this because its playing such a big role in how some men see themselves and the part they play in this world. I feel this is one of the things that impact on some mens mental helath and how they ( do not) nurture themselves and the people around them. I feel it can have a big impacts on the relationship they have with their children. I feel this can also create an imbalance in a relationship also because the " role "of the woman is to "nurture ". This take a tremendous amount of energy that if it's not a shared role or reciprocated role , it can create a negative imbalance. I have seen this too many times. This is such a deep conversation for me, there are so many levels to this.

I watched this video and Came to tears! Everything that I’ve been knowing wanting needing is all in this conversation! Not over standing the masculine male or y he comes off the way he does! It’s crazy because it’s the older men in their 50’s ands older that actually still Carries themselves as actual men and leading woman in the right direction of growth and love with overstanding! I’m starting to come to realization that my age range won’t get it together and that’s all I’ll be left with is an older guy I can’t grow with! He’s already old and more matured in life! I actually thought after achieving everything that I wanted that the men would come easy! That’s the hardest thing because nobody my age is on that level! It’s sad! Sucks to say it but I might end up alone officially! It’s always a down play on independent melanated females taking the lead and providing for the family or home! Yes we wanta be lead by the right person! Not everyone has the right intentions when leading a female! It’s messed up out here! Manifesting it isn’t enough

One of the problems today that men AND women are facing is an unfamiliarity of real and unconditional love. In return, it's being reciprocated in the form of one being taken for granted or as a sign of weakness, because they are so broken. The best love is to teach them to love themselves, so they will know how to love others.
