Only two albums and still probably in the top 5 bands to come out of the ninety’s
I was introduced to them in the 90s. Both albums are master pieces. You got both worlds… heavy and melodic song… all with beautiful lyrics.
RIP Jimmy
Best 90's album
Bravo, Giorgos! It's probably a greek thing :-)
Nobody's heard of The God Machine...
@@mikresmeres1798 We listened to them in Wales :)
How i love this song, how it influenced my own songs....
The heaviest band in the world!!
Great song. Classic 90s journey rock.
Great stuff. Bought on cassette as a stripling.
Utterly choss!
+1
Does anyone have any idea of what the origin of the chanting at the beginning and end of the song might be?
That's a sample from the song "Pilentze Pee" recorded by the Bulgarian State Television Female Choir for the album Le Mystère Des Voix Bulgares (1975).
"The album is a project by Swiss ethnomusicologist Marcel Cellier, a compilation album of modern arrangements of Bulgarian folk songs. In the 1980s, the British 4AD label tracked down and licensed the recordings from Cellier and was re-released in 1986."
@@ZombieLXXIII Awesome, thanks! I've been wondering about that for a while
From recollection (typing on a train at the mo) I don't think the choir was on the original version on the Purity EP in '91....
How do you make a video with a cover art like this?
you take the album cover, zoom about 150% into it then you blur it out. next you put the art and the font just like this
