I've noticed some people in this comment section saying that Ichigo can't cut Akaza due to him not having the right type of sword. to that.. Ichigo Has a Zanpakuto a Zanpakuto doesn't target the physical body it cuts the users soul itself. I believe this was explained relatively early in bleach (Around when Ichigo was Training to go save Rukia) So yes Ichigo would 100% be able to cut Akaza. and by that margin ANY demon.
Even if that not the case, a base getsugatensho would reduce akaza to nothing

Those steel sticks were commonly used for killing demons in ds verse simply bcuz they were the only possible way found to pierce through durable demon's skin and bypass their regen in that era. Some nukes are probably enough to wipe out them all.

The animation is spectacular, I know you only used the clips you could that fits the situation but if ichigo were to actually fight akaza he'd one shot him without needing his bankai. Reiatsu pressure or normal Getsugatensho would wipe akaza to atoms.
Yeah, but to be fair, Ichigo seems to have a habit of breaking out his Bankai for basically no reason at all...looking at you, hollows in the city at the beginning of the TYBW arc...

@@cruallassar7428 Well, as you may know, that wasn't even in the manga and was just the anime's way of celebrating Bleach's return and give fans some fan-service (and flex the animation a little bit), before heading straight into business.
Otherwise, the first time we'd see Ichigo's bankai in 10 years would be against Ebern, right before he tries to steal it. It probably just wouldn't be as satisfying of a bankai reveal.
