why would people dislike, it saved me money in doing my own repair/replacement. if people found this this hard just imagine doing the front lights, done this many times and yet still gives me chills when I have to replace the front.
Thanks a lot for watching, I’m glad it helped. Some people will find a reason to dislike. I’m always trying to improve my video’s, but you can’t please everyone. Thankyou.
@@drivewaydiyer6504 Great video - the hours you have saved so many people (not to mention saving: broken light units, multiple grazed knuckles, lots of swearing, kicked-dogs, family arguments). You probably deserve some sort of national honour.
Thanks for the video, seems straight forward, but I would mention that we shouldn't touch the bulbs with our fingers as this causes the bulbs to fail sooner, something to do with the oils on our skin I heard. thanks again.
Great - I've used this 3 times. Thanks so much. BUT - now I need to replace the OTHER side - the driver side. It is really difficult to get to the top screw. I can't seem to open up the panel either. Is there a video? There are a few unclear ones on YT but they don't work!
Hi , sorry about the late response, mine has a panel, which opens. There’s an inflation kit in there. You may want to take that out, you can reach in there and twist the screw, you might need something to start it, though.

@@drivewaydiyer6504 I know. But the top screw is near impossible to replace!
Pretty sure the metal bracket comes out, when you unscrew it, to gain access. Have you took the foam, insert out?
@@drivewaydiyer6504 Yes - but the bracket is almost impossible to remove. Shame that one side is so easy!
Which is why all the videos show the passenger side and no one bothers showing the drivers side 😢
Thank you

If you break the plastic glass any way of replacing instead of changing the rear light completely has break my plastic glass on mine
You need to replace the unit. There’s plenty on eBay at a reasonable price.
What about the right side? Its different to the left.
In my plan to do👍
Great vid but it has to be said - Vauxhall’s make things so difficult. Why Tx screws all the time?! Even their stereos have them 🤬
I had to invest in a torx tool set. It’s annoying, but the only way. You can get a decent set off Amazon or eBay, for not much money.👍
load of crap cars
😂they have their issues.
Today's cars, very bad conceptions !
They really aren’t DIYer friendly. Could be so much easier.
