- Carolina Rua, recorded at Powerscourt Gardens, Dublin, Ireland as part of the "Songs From the Heart" DVD for Celtic Woman and PBS. This song is not included on the DVD and has been searched for by a lot of people, rightfully so. It's great!
An absolute stunner. Voice sent from the heavens.
Lynn was one of the best vocalists ever to sing as Celtic Woman. The others, in my opinion,were Chloe, Lisa, Meav, Orla and Alex.
Lynn Hilary is amazing, stunning, breathtaking, simply their best.
The way she just floats up to the high "F" at the end of the bridge is just...jaw-dropping.
Lynn has one of the most incredible voices I've ever heard, and I work in the music industry.
Can't get enough of her singing!
Yup. Why'd she quit?
I haven't watched this in a while, so let me get this straight,
she not only:
>Sings like an angel
>Has an adorable, beautiful face with big girly eyes
>Sweet feminine personality with a cute smile
>Long, gorgeous hair
>Nerd that likes star trek and similar things
>Humble and modest
>Irish
AND she has a beautiful, gorgeous, round butt?
actually one of the most attractive women to have ever lived
Lynn Hillary: You are outstanding. Much admired. Greetings
Wow, Lynn Hilary is amazing, and the song is perfect for her voice
Yes, the news is true. Celtic Woman has announced, on their official website, that Lynn is "taking a break from touring with Songs from the Heart." Some people are hoping that means it's just temporary, but the message from Lynn herself does sound like it's permanent. I guess we'll wait and see. In the meantime, I had to come and view this again. A beautiful woman, beautiful singer, and very sweet girl, as I was lucky enough to see during a Meet & Greet in 2010! Lynn, you will be missed!
lynn just has the most sweet saprano vioce i ever heard.
"You'll Be In My Heart" was recorded at the taping in Dublin, and it was included in the PBS broadcast, but it is not included on the DVD. There are apparently several "levels" of rights which can be purchased, and for that song it appears they had the rights for the TV broadcast (where they were not making any money) but not for including it on the DVD, which would have been for profit.
I missed the "Isle of Hope" tour so I had not seen Lynn's performance until now. I heard the song on her CD, but this was the first time seeing it, so I was happy to be able to share it with others!
I
Like a precious fawn prancing across the stage
I saw Lynn perform this twice at Celtic Woman concerts last year, and loved it. I was very disappointed when it wasn't included on the Songs from the Heart PBS special or DVD.
Beautiful perfection in looks, talent, sweetest enchantress
@Phoenix684
Something I found humorous is that Lisa Lambe, who has very red hair, sings Black is the Colour about a true love with black hair. And Lynn, who has black hair, is singing a song about a girl with red hair.
Accidental lgbtq+ representation xD
Yea, I can't believe this isn't on the DVD nor the CDs!!! :-( Especially since there aren't many videos of Lynn!! Bad EMI !!! Thanks for posting Tirpseh!
Lynn, has convertido esta canción en una obra de arte. La forma como te mueves en el escenario, los gestos y expresión de tu rostro són deliciosos, bellisimos y elegant es. Bravo!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏
I love this song and its not on my DVD. :( But I LOVED hearing it on the IOH tour and its one of my favorite on Lynn's CD. :D
There have been a number of discussions on the CW Forum about songs missing from the DVD. The only other one that comes to mind at the moment is Alex' performance of "You'll Be In My Heart" which is available here on youtube.
@shuboy05 Just to clarify, the PBS broadcasts always have some songs deleted which are included on the DVD's The reason for this is that they actually leave the recording playing in the background when they are talking during their "beg-a-thons." If you listen closely you can hear the music continuing as they speak.
Thank you so much!
What a performance great singer
Lynn Hilary is an angel, that's serious as I'm a devout atheist!
She is the most beautiful of them all and has a voice of equal value... I don't understand why she got only one solo? What sort of scheming took place?
I watched her interviews, seems like she's very shy. Maybe that's why? Idk.. just my assumption.
Hey everyone - Lynn is part of a new group now, "The Bluebelles." Look it up on UA-cam! Lover her!!
I love this song so I
I wish they re-do it instead to blu ray format and get all the missing track in !!! Lynn is missed ......
@tirpseh
The good news is that Songs From the Heart is the only concert that got hit with legal issues. The Believe concert DVD actually has songs that were cut from the PBS broadcast. What's odd to me though is that Carolina Rua wasn't included on the CD either.
Exactly.. They (Celtic Woman, EMI) do not own the rights to the song and cannot offer it "for sale" on a DVD. Lynn did it on her CD with proper rights, but the CW DVD did not.
Amazon.com is offering this song as an exclusive MP3 and from the clapping at the end it was most likely recorded from this concert. Since it's only 99 cents, you might as well complete your collection. Not sure when this was added though
@broadwaybabi730 they did the same thing in most of the other shows too. for example "I dreamt I dwelt in marble halls" is only on the DVD but you get it on I-Tunes and in ANJ they preformed "O holy night" but it wasn't on PBS, the CD or DVD
She's just too pretty... D:
@gaeilge101 Please let her know her fans are DEVASTATED!!! I do understand the constant touring can take a toll on one's life. I've been fortunate enough to meet her several times this year. Someone, please pick me up off the floor! =((
Linda
So much
Isn't 'You'll be in my Heart' on the DVD? It's on the CD? It does sorta beg the question with all the music out there and all the amazing stuff they've writen themselves why they use songs they can't put on the dvd/cd?
@shuboy05
Never mind, just discovered the song was put in Amazon's exclusive edition
Just listened to this for the first time. Is it sexist of me to admit that I can't remeber the song because I was in thrall to Lynn's beauty throughout the song?
@missbeatrix1
Judging by Lynn's white dress, it's in the first half of the concert.
@aamces I don't know who made the decision to not include this on the "Songs From the heart" DVD, but as we have discussed in earlier comments, it seems the reason for the decision was legalities. Celtic Woman Ltd., the company which produces and manages the group, made an official statement, in response to people asking about several songs being left off the DVD, which said they did not have the necessary legal rights to include some songs in the DVD itself.
Makes sense. This was on Lynn's personal album, but not from a Celtic Woman album originally.
Why is one of the best Celtic Woman Lynn Hilary DVD video songs such bad video quality??? Will someone get this great song by Celtic Woman Lynn Hilary out in better DVD video quality, please!
@gaeilge101: and didn't Lynn do "Dulaman"??
O man i love this version of this song...... i really want the mp3 version but cant download it from amazon because some stupid countrey restrictions....
Is thre sombody who can help me with this??????????????
The official response from CW Ltd., is that they did not have the legal rights to use some songs for distribution ... meaning they were allowed to perform them in concert, but not to put them on a DVD which was then going to be sold. I truly don't think it ia against Alex & Lynn, it's all about legal limits, and in the performance business, that is a major issue.
it's weird since this song is on Lynn's first solo album
I cant download it from amazon because some countrey restrictions can you help me out????
@CelticWoman27: hang on. didn't Lynn sing "Dulaman" too?
maybe if i pay you you can download it for me and send it to me???

Sorry but I don't know how to help with that. Country restrictions are really annoying.
Who was the idiot who took this music from DVD?
