I enjoyed watching your video. It turned out beautiful with the attractive shells and drift wood pieces. Some of the comments written were nasty. It would be wonderful if people didn’t want to say something uplifting to not comment at all. The world is negative enough and this space for viewing videos should be to support, and uplift at all times. Great job!!!

@@TheSucculentHome I love Dollar 🌲 and find a ton of awesome items for my projects. I feel like a millionaire when I go shopping there because I can buy anything I want and leave with a ton of bags and it will cost me like $25 lol. Also it's not like other dollar stores that have different priced items.

Came out really good. Love the beach theme!! A lot of my "planters" don't have drainage holes, and I don't have the right drill bits to make hole.....so I put gravel at the bottom of the planters. And also do what you do, make sure to watch the amount of water they get. Awesome arrangement!! :)

Great video but from what I understand you need to thrill a spill and the fill .... I think this means you need one that is big and beautiful and one that’s spilling over a lot of different ones to fill in the gaps you can also use rock driftwood shells it was supposed to cover up all the dirt .... yes I’m learning to but you did a good job very pretty I wish I could’ve seen the whole video darn until next time be safe✝️🙏🏽☮️♥️🕊🌵🌹🙋🏻‍♀️

Just planning to transplant some aloe vera tomorrow, so this was really timely! I'm creating a 20x60' succulent garden (mounds with flagstone steps set in pammie (colored) gravel in between. The aloe vera will be one of the stars because of its height and hardiness (heat/cold/drought). I didn't know it put out "babies." That's great because I have a lot of ground to cover (and a limited budget to do it).

This is gorgeous, thanks for sharing. I'd be scared to death to plant such beautiful specimens without drainage holes. All of mine are either in ground or in pots with plenty of drainage holes. I wonder if adding tiny decorative pebble rocks would prevent root rot. I like how you made mounds for certain plants to stand out. That idea works perfectly with the container you're using. How would it look in a deeper pot that wasn't as large around the rim?

You can buy over-the-counter products that kill insects they have organic ones out there or you can make your very own at home remedy using 70% or more rubbing alcohol with water in a spray bottle both treat and get rid of mealybugs. Hope this helps you let me know keep me posted on if it does or not. Also if you have an Instagram follow me I would love to see your succulents if you take pictures of them and post... XOXO

Hi Natty!!! Its lasted long time. The only thing is that everytime I watered it, it got all messy. The sand would mix with the soil after being watered so that wasnt a good choice but it did last for a while and now I too knit apart to do something new with it... xoxox

Yes Amie they do do well in full sun. The soul I use is from lowes and it's the palm citrus and succulent mix. You can use it with all 3 types if you want. It literally says palm citrus and cacti soil mix... hopefully this helps you. Let me know how it goes Amie. Xoxo

Also if your pot doesn't have drainage holes the best thing to do it put about an inch or so (depending on the size of the pot) of gravel at the bottom any excess water will run into there. And any roots that grow into there will be "water roots" and won't get root rot
