Laura I absolutely love your channel. Every morning my daughter and I look forward to your videos. You helped get me through the hardest days through my pregnancy, after birth, and now COVID. I cannot begin to express how refreshing and up lifting you are, your smile just makes me push forward through my troubles and make the best of any situation. Thank you for just being you! P.S. congratulations with new baby, I cannot wait to see clips of them just like with Benjamin! 🥰
i kinda enjoyed that second long ponder over how it looks. lol. One of my favorite things is hearing aaron talking/answering Laura. You two really are adorable and I really love to see you work together in any capacity
That looks just phenomenal. People would pay big bucks for that arrangement. Gorgeous! Yes you need a work table and you used to have a Lazy Susan didn’t you? That would really have helped you today. You guys are the best!
...very beautiful!...rich texture and low maintenance! No fuss, no muss! Beautiful colors, too! Switching gears, allow me to say that every garden/household needs a CheddarChunk and RusselRoo tusseling around! 🙃😺 Laura, you are loved and adored!...the very highlight of each day! 🙏❤️ Cindy in Maryland =^..^=
I also love the urn! Laura, I have never been a fan of succulents-until you! This is SUCH a lovely arrangement, it IS beautiful! I love the way you are SO real about your process of building the arrangement, and how you have experienced learning. It has taken watching your compose several succulent arrangements to win me over. Frankly-I’ve never seen anything done with succulents as beautiful as yours. Thank you very much!!
I ADORED the different feel of this video edit. This was such a relaxed pace and atmosphere of literally just being invited into your gracious space and thought process of creating a beautiful piece of living art. You make me feel like I'm part of your people. I love ALL your videos, and your choice to mix in different styles of edits is so super pleasing. I know you guys are just people, but man...I really think you have been blessed with the ability to set the standard in so many different ways with your channel. You have just done this whole UA-cam project with such excellence. Just, thank you.
Hi Laura it's great to see you container planting again as you have not done one for a while. l lovely urn and beautiful planted. Really beautiful Laura.
I was never a fan of succulent plants but after watching your videos, and seeing how you use them in arrangements, you have completely converted me, Laura! This arrangement is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I’m actually excited about purchasing some succulents now (wow, there’s something I never thought I would say) and making an arrangement. Thank you for always inspiring us!
I know Im randomly asking but does any of you know a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Christian Brendan thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I am going to buy some succulents and a beautiful pot, turn this video on and create an arrangement along with you! I will feel like I have just taken a class with you as the teacher! Thank you, Miss Laura!!
Lovely succulent arrangement. I would like to share a tip for cleaning soil off of succulents without touching them with your hands. I use a soft lady's blusher brush. Works a treat and great also for removing aphids from tender shoots.
You recommend good things. We bought and are very happy with: Gardeners Supply Grow Lights Bonide RoseRx Espoma Irontone Gorilla Platform Felco 231 Felco lube better oil (Andy's three in one) You also taught us how to: Drill rocks for fountain Clean our Felcos (I made John watch it and he learned lots.) Digging holes with auger I am sure there is more but that is what came to mind. Thank you. Even really old gardeners can learn and enjoy what you have to offer.
It’s 9pm in Australia, great way to end the evening- with some gardening inspo ! I have zero green thumb capability but I’ve been watching your videos this last week and I’ve already planted strawberries, flowers and trying to revive the grass in the new property I’ve moved into. Thanks for making gardening fun and exciting 🥰👍
I'm an Aussie too and have already planted strawberries and will be planting small tomatoes in a hanging pot. I am also making a succulent arrangement for a Christmas present for my daughter who loves succulents. Thank you for your inspirations Laura.
I’ve been watching a little over a year and it shows around my property, nothing over the top but I’ve gotten compliments ❤️ thanks Laura!! I need to try succulents, I love their look!
I thought this would just be another succulent video but I was so inspired by the actual slow, step-by-step, music-less look at Laura’s procedure. Her indecision makes the rest of us feel normal 🙃 And what a gorgeous outcome! (And I always love a kitten sighting 😸)
This is exactly what i need after the shift i just had! Laura Aaron and Benjamin put me in a good mood before going to bed and doing it all over again!!!
OH MY GOODNESS LAURA I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHEN YOU DO SUCCULENT ARRANGEMENTS, YOU ARE SO AWESOME. I love SUCCULENTS and I love when you show us what you create. I find myself saying oh yes that looks great as you're doing it. That's gorgeous, thank you.
Thank you for introducing me to succulents. I am just about to create an entire succulent bed on an ancient terrace we have just finished converting into a cabane, and the succulent bed will be the crowning glory of a low wall with a stunning view which we didn't want to block with a flower bed, but it is an ugly, uneven wall so we have to do something, we were scratching our heads and then I thought "succulents", Laura's loved succulents would be perfect for a very shallow bed which will add to the beauty of the view. Then I come inside and your video today is about succulents. Well I think that was all the confirmation I needed :-) I think I will have to name it after you !
I always learn several things from each of your videos. Even tho I am an old experienced gardener. Love your kittie popping in and out of your videos. It’s wonderful and real. And so are you. Thank you Laura.
I never enjoyed succulents until I saw your creations Laura. You paint with plants and you make the process so accessible. Thank you. I am definitely inspired to give it a try.
Coffee with Laura, Aaron, Russell, and Cheddar along with an amazing arrangement is a great way to start the day! I love seeing a bit of the new little topiary's that you got there behind you. And trust those 2 kitties to give some comic relief. I laughed when you finally just started dropping stuff on the ground like oh well I will clean that up later lol That is totally what I would do but now you need to be on the look out for a small table. This arrangement is so pretty with the different textures and colors so thank you for the inspiration!
There was an article in the NYT today about growing succulents! So I headed to my local nursery and planted up my 3 pot of succulents. What a great day. Your pot is dreamy 🌻
I love, love, love the way you arranged these succulents! Great Job! I have many Hens and Chicks that were my grandfather's then my Dad's, and now mine which just keeping growing offsprings and I keep giving them away to family and friends. I keep them outside all year. Not a problem in winter.
Laura, I love the arrangement! You have such a wonderful presentation style, it’s like I’m just sitting there with you while you’re creating. What an inspiration! Just a suggestion for you, I do a lot of dimensional projects and I’ve discovered, quite by accident, that having a mirror standing in front while I’m working from behind helps me with balance so I don’t have to lean over the top or walk around as much. I use an old cheval mirror that was sitting in the garage so I can adjust its angle depending on the size of what I’m working on, which is sculptural in nature. You just have to remember you’re seeing it in reverse.
Me too at first when she said she was gonna go slow I thought for sure they were gonna speed it up like a time lapse. I was getting ready to change the settings to slow the video down. haha. Turns out, didn't have to it was lovely.
Your “willy nilly” slower and more thorough process really helped me in this video. Thanks. I have succulents inside and outside that I am going to combine now in preparation for the big winter migration, lol. My house is always inundated with pots. This will reduce a few and be beautiful!!
so pretty, i am a florist and i say the same thing to my self all the time " i need a side table but i just toss everything on the floor " then giggle. that would be so pretty for so many different settings inside and out.
You make it look so easy, "I can do this". Then, it never turns out as pretty. Oh well, I'll keep trying. Thanks a bunch for the video. They never get old.
I love to see you tackling small projects like this. It reminds me of the time when you used to do a lot more of these smaller-scale projects. I can relate to these videos more because I live in a townhouse with limited space and can apply the ideas and inspirations more. Though it is very exciting to see all your new, larger than life adventures, I always love it when you go back to succulent and house plant arrangements.
Your arrangement is lovely. You could start out with a rusty old coffee can and make it beautiful. Laura I envy you. You are the complete pkg in a person. ☺
I really enjoyed this video. I love cactus & succulents. The arrangement is beautiful. Love love love it. Thank you for sharing this with us. Have a very blessed evening. God bless. 🙏😊❤😊🙏
No video is complete without an appearance from, Arron, Benjamin, Russell, and Cheddar. With a bonus of your mother, father, and occasionally your sister. I just live it. As you would say. I honestly can get through a day without watching. Sundays I feel lost and watch an old video.💜
Thank you sooooo much for being so informational. I had no idea about sunburn on succulents and that they don't continuously want sun, until I started watching your channel. You have helped many of mine to keep thriving.
Start everyday with your videos. I am still working on seeds from yesterday and trying to figure out when to harvest my watermelons! You are superwoman Laura. I need a cup of coffee to keep up with you. I am running behind. Beautiful succulents and urn❤️❤️❤️. Aaron you have great patience. 👏👏👏 to you both! God Bless!
I got so inspired that i went out and bought some succulents to add to the pot I received as a gift. I need more! So now I am on the hunt for succulents! Thanks for the inspiration. I even split two of them to add a more balanced look.
I really love this arrangement, and I mostly love that you did it slower so we can see exactly how you created such beauty!! This was an awesome video!
A pretty easy, cheap option for a succulent container is a hanging basket with cocoa liner. Just make sure it has a flat bottom. Dollar stores have bright summer coated baskets on clearance. Lemon Ball sedum in a bright blue basket is stunning!
I love the split screen that allows us to see both the full picture and the individual succulent plants!! Way to go Aaron!! You're so stinking talented!
It really is a beautiful arrangement. I was never fond of succulents but as I am getting older and realize so many varieties, recognized in Laura's videos, I really do love their look.
That is really pretty Laura. It turned out really nice. I've never been into Succulents but the more I see you arranging them I'm really starting to love them.
Gorgeous!!! That urn is so pretty. Because of your videos I have been growing some succulents. They take a long time to grow from the leaf. But...i love that it is working. Thanks for the inspiration.🌸🌷🌺
Oh my goodness! I was soooo disappointed at the end when I missed my “plant beauty shots”! lol! I hollered out, “Aaron!?” Then got to see the most beautiful 360 degree “beauty shots” everrrrr on Garden Answer Highlights Channel! Amazing photography! Thank youuuuu! 😃🌱🍃🌼😍
Thanks to you I planted a mini succulent garden, it is going well. After this video, I feel a little braver to add some variation in colour and texture. Thanks for this video, for arrangement is lovely.
Another gorgeous arrangement, Laura!! ❤ Ya'll are streaking fast towards ONE MILLION subscribers (arrgghh, so awesome!!) so you need to get suggestions on what fun thing ya'll should do when you hit that number!! 😉 (examples: Laura with a ponytail...)
Beautiful im in awe that you know all the names of all the plants your amazing I love your channel god bless you and your family please keep doing what your doing I love watching you every morning your the first thing I do with my coffee of course .🦋
Just when I think there is no way another plant can fit, you put 4 more 🤣 A succulent arrangement was the first of your videos I watched; it changed how I put succulents plantings together. I get compliments on my succulent pots ever since. The mounding technique is a game changer!
OMG. This is the perfect arrangement for my containers I just bought. I was trying to think what kind of plants to use. The containers will be going on tables around my sitting area around my garden. I just love watching you in the evening.
I love being able to hear you and Aaron discuss the project like this! Something about it just feels so authentic and true to your channels character. Garden Answer is by far my favorite channel to watch. Thank you both for these daily doses of joy...and your family and team for all of their help to support you and your ability to create content for us🤗
I LOVE seeing the long form of this video and seeing your process and indecision too! It's easy for us to think that you just automatically whip these up without much thought. Thanks for all that you do!
Gorgeous!!! I was given a succulent pot as a gift recently. I think I will go buy more and fill it up like yours. So much nicer than what I received. Thank you. for the example!
Hey Laura, I think you need to do more of these! Where you show us your thinking process when making any arrangements, instead of having it time lapsed! It gives me a better idea on what to look for!
I love succulents, almost everywhere in my garden! It is very beautiful and easy to keep nice as well! Great for a person like me, don’t have to Change every year😍👍👌
Your arrangement is spectacular Laura! I found your channel just a few weeks ago and this is the video I’ve been looking for. I invested in 2 arrangements for my south facing porch this summer because I needed something low maintenance. They thrived and have doubled in size! Now I am scrambling to figure out how to care for them over the winter here in Ohio. I’ve brought them inside and was going to divide them up but now I am thinking of waiting until spring. Your videos are so informative and have me hooked!
So beautiful! I wished I lived closer to your parent's garden center, there is a greenhouse in our town that has loads of different succulents and cacti but they don't allow you into the greenhouse and only sell the ones on a small display and a little 2-inch pot is $4! So I'm left with the slim pickins at the big box stores. As a side note, you can get a blower to use for blowing the dirt off plants they are made to clean cameras, they actually do look like an industrial baby nose cleaner lol
Hi Laura! Have you ever thought about putting succulents in your landscape? Is it even possible to create a soil environment they would like in a small part of the garden? An elegant tiered bed situation even. I love to think outside the box! 😂 Love you!
I love your channel, Laura. Everything I know with plants now are because of your shared tips and tricks. I was inspired to make my own channel because my friends saw my photos and asked me how I made them. I have not realized how much work gets into putting out a video where you shoot and edit too 😂
Hi Laura and Aaron! That urn turned out beautiful! You always do a wonderful job on your arrangements. I appreciate you letting us watch the whole process. It really helps! Thank you so much for sharing!
I was so distracted by the amazingly beautiful kitty behind you. 🤭 I kept seeing a flash of orange here & there 🐈, so I was thrilled when he finally did his cameo! Your arrangement is fabulous, of course, but thanks for the kitty drive- by❣😻
This is absolutely gorgeous and I love watching and learning from you! In my opinion you’re the best!! I was thinking of something to help with being to see the entire piece. But, You know what would help with being able to allow everyone including yourself to see all 360 of the creation? I think they may be called a lazy Susan, maybe not but it’s the thing that allows you to spin it. They normally are in the center of dinner tables to allow easy access without moving dishes. I love the longer videos🥰
Laura I absolutely love your channel. Every morning my daughter and I look forward to your videos. You helped get me through the hardest days through my pregnancy, after birth, and now COVID. Laura, I have never seen anyone who puts as many plants, flowers, in a container as you, and they turn out so amazingly gourgous!
I love how beautiful your "willy nilly" arrangements turn out!

You dont need to thank us for watching, we need to thank you for making this!
You need a lazy susan to work on when doing arrangements. Makes life much easier! Love the urn. reminds me of an old still-life painting.
Add a mirror
She has one. Wonder why she did not use it.
IKEA has a wooden lazy Susan that would work perfectly.

The lazy susan is an excellent idea. Make it much easier to work with the arrangement.
...very beautiful!...rich texture and low maintenance! No fuss, no muss! Beautiful colors, too!
Switching gears, allow me to say that every garden/household needs a CheddarChunk and RusselRoo tusseling around! 🙃😺
Laura, you are loved and adored!...the very highlight of each day! 🙏❤️

@Darwin Gabriel instablaster :)
@Christian Brendan thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Christian Brendan It worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D

Granny's Garden Great tip.
You recommend good things. We bought and are very happy with:

Felco 231
Felco lube
better oil (Andy's three in one)
You also taught us how to:
Drill rocks for fountain
Clean our Felcos (I made John watch it and he learned lots.)
Digging holes with auger
I am sure there is more but that is what came to mind.

Me too, it’s kinda a routine for me now, watching Laura’s new videos before bed.
I thought this would just be another succulent video but I was so inspired by the actual slow, step-by-step, music-less look at Laura’s procedure. Her indecision makes the rest of us feel normal 🙃 And what a gorgeous outcome! (And I always love a kitten sighting 😸)
The Urn is beaautiful, all the plants wow, The arrangement stunning. Great as always.
This is exactly what i need after the shift i just had! Laura Aaron and Benjamin put me in a good mood before going to bed and doing it all over again!!!

Love when you do a relaxed arrangement where you talk through it like this, fun! Even the kitties were a fun distraction.
I just LOVE every time Laura says “it’s not gonna work” and then does it anyway!!! and then it turns out AMAZING!!!!
LOL!
I know! It cracked me up every time. I loved seeing her process thru it lol
I always learn several things from each of your videos. Even tho I am an old experienced gardener. Love your kittie popping in and out of your videos. It’s wonderful and real. And so are you. Thank you Laura.
WOW I love how your filming now, I can see so much better. Thank you:)
There was an article in the NYT today about growing succulents! So I headed to my local nursery and planted up my 3 pot of succulents. What a great day. Your pot is dreamy 🌻

I LOVE how the video is in real time and slow. I enjoyed this one a lot!
🤗🌅 Yes! Succulents,💞 love, love! No fuss plants😊
I am not a cat lover but I have come to love seeing Russell and Cheddar in your videos. They make me smile. :)
I love this kind of videos! This arrangement is amazing! It's nice to hear your process, how you choose every single plants. Kisses from Italy 😘😘
so pretty, i am a florist and i say the same thing to my self all the time " i need a side table but i just toss everything on the floor " then giggle. that would be so pretty for so many different settings inside and out.

This is one of the most beautiful succulent arrangements that I’ve ever seen! You are very gifted with a great eye and I love all your arrangements.
Coolest thing I have EVER seen!!
Age 26....first planting- white impatience
Age 50....just fell in ♡ with succulents
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
It Turned Out Incredibly Beautiful 😍
I love to see you tackling small projects like this. It reminds me of the time when you used to do a lot more of these smaller-scale projects. I really like the editing on this video. It was great seeing a close up and the full screen at the same time.
Your arrangement is lovely. You could start out with a rusty old coffee can and make it beautiful. Laura I envy you. You are the complete pkg in a person. ☺
You should challenge her with using a rusty coffee tin. You know she can do it.

Aloha from Hawaii!🌴 Beautiful arrangement! Liked the split screen close-up shots. Thank you for another thoroughly enjoyable video! ⭐️
That is just gorgeous! watching Laura position each plant and looks from our view is like an artist arranging fruit in a bowl before he paints.

It would look gorgeous on the coffee table in the gazebo with the fireplace!
I love this!!! It has the beauty of a flower arrangement and the durability of a potted plant.
Loved your one minute video of my favorite orange kitties. 🐱
🎵Everybody was kungfu fighting....🎶😀 4:38
Gorgeous!!! I was given a succulent pot as a gift recently. I think I will go buy more and fill it up like yours. So much nicer than what I received. Thank you. for the example!
I love to know how many plants are in that urn! And a list of plants. It’s beautiful!
I never appreciated succulents until I watched and learned about them from you. Now I love them!
You should do things "willy-nilly" all the time! It's BEAUTIFUL!
YOU are an artist using plants as your medium!
GM that’s a pretty looking Urn and the arrangement is just stunning Love the greenery mix’s with the bluish 😍😍😍 it’s Pretty 😁😁
That will look so good as a centerpiece 🤩
So gorgeous
Please make all succulent arrangement videos like this one. I love to see your thinking process in choosing the succulents.
I’ve never like the look of succulents, but this is so attractive. I gotta get me some of these and an appealing planter. Wow. Love your work❤.
Hi Laura! Have you ever thought about putting succulents in your landscape? Is it even possible to create a soil environment they would like in a small part of the garden? An elegant tiered bed situation even. I love to think outside the box! 😂 Love you!
That’s a sweet little urn and I’m sure that arrangement will enhance any room/ space.😊😊
I wouldn’t put it inside. It needs a lot of light. Inside it would fade and elongate. Bummer.
I love watching you build succulents for a perfect outcome.
What looks beautiful to set each other apart! Words to live by!
I was so distracted by the amazingly beautiful kitty behind you. 🤭 I kept seeing a flash of orange here & there 🐈, so I was thrilled when he finally did his cameo! Your arrangement is fabulous, of course, but thanks for the kitty drive- by❣😻
Beautiful!!! I was not a succulent fan till seeing your arrangements. I'm hooked.
I find the tearing off the root sound so satisfying!
I really liked watching you decide what to use and explaining your thought process throughout the whole arrangement.
Love the split screen shots!!!! So helpful. That is such a lovely arrangement!
