@@captainprairie5790 Nawh man I’m sorry I was in a rough mood that day working on my bike. I actually really enjoyed the video it did help in some ways and was pretty funny keep them up man I apologize for being rude
@@captainprairie5790 unfortunately not. Idk what the problem is. I though I had it or at least very close to spec, started it up and it sounded better idled better so I took it for a test ride and it shut off on me mid turn causing me to put it on its side and not it sounds awful and won’t idle so idk I’m getting very discouraged. I’m just starting to realize I’m not mechanically inclined enough to own a cheap bike and not rich enough to own an expensive one so I may just need to hang the helmet up
Thank you again for the videos. Looking forward to the update you mentioned to ZTE Burner. Kind of staggered regarding the frequency of valve adjustments that you mentioned. At least once per month/every thousand miles?! Wondering if there's a way to keep them from going out of adjustment so often. I thought these engines were designed to be low maintenance. Also, how is the sprocket situation with the rear wheel working out? Has the Locktite solved the problem? Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with the motorcycling community! It's people like you that will give us a fighting chance if it ever comes to fighting! Hope to see you and "Jr" on the "row ad" some day!
It fixed the problem perfectly. Thanks for noticing the idle issue, good ear! We actually had to do the valves again to smooth it out, probably something that will be an ongoing maintenance issue. Thanks for watching!!!

That valve cover should go straight up after getting the bolts out, not even sure why I didn't show it. Thank you for the question, sorry that I have no intelligent answer.

I've never seen such unsteady camera work in my life. I could give that camera to a heroin addict in severe withdrawal and it wouldn't be that shaky. You've just sent hundreds of epileptics to the hospital. Btw, there's plenty of room there without taking the tank off.

@reaperishh No! Don't hang up the helmet! Try watching 2Vintage vids. He does a lot of diff bikes and stuff. Has a lot more knowledge than I do.

so are you going to have to do a valve adjustment every 1000 miles on these things?
We have had to do them more often than that. We just do it when the engine idles hard and it clears right up. Thanks for the comment!!
@@captainprairie5790 When you say engine idles hard, do you mean high rpms?
@@Jebusite100 sorry about that, no I mean it tends to quit at a stop sign so you have to feather the throttle. Hope that makes sense.
