CATALONIA PUNTA DEL REY TENERIFE

A brief tour of the lovely CATALONIA PUNTA DEL REY TENERIFE.
We stayed for a week in March 2018. The food was excellent, staff were very polite and professional. The average temperature was 23 degrees c over the week, reaching 26 one day!
I have also featured the hotels solaria over the road, which is adults only and great for sunbathing.
The safe in the room is 18 Euro per week with a 10 Euro deposit.
It is a great location with Santa Cruz only 20mins away on the local bus, costing only 2 Euros 10c per person.

Thank you for this nice video, I stayed there last 2 weeks and I can confirm that nothing changed, I rent even the same black Polo car that I saw in the video parked beside the rent car office in front of the hotel.

Hi,
Please let us know how's the weather in late February, also is the beach nearby. Does this resort has kids aged 5 swings, slides and a pool with slides for kids?. Within walking distance can you get to the beach, shopping centre and by any chance is there any nearby Indian restaurant?.

Brilliant video. The solarium has changed since last June they were busy working on it last year. Is the library still there(near the gym)?.
Went 3 times last year always in a room on pool side with sea views so it was lovely to see the difference. Going again very soon.

Yes, it seems likely, variety of food was very good, just too noisy late at night though! Or maybe I'm just getting old!

I went there in 2017 the Hotel was fine could not fault it the all inclusive was the best I had ever been too the food is great so is the drinks at the bar, slept well in the room it was clean I would say four star rather than a three especially for food but when I was there it got a bit roudy one night there was a fight in the hotel everything calmed down afterwards.

Jade Fisher hi, the black sand beach is approximately 20 min walk away, there is no local night life as such, but Puerto de la Cruz is only a cheap taxi ride away. I must admit I would not stay here if you are after a more lively holiday!

Andrew Cox Santa Cruz is even closer, 10mins with the bus and great nightlife. If you want a lively holiday, just go to puerto de la cruz
