You should put a small container next to the gumball machine for people to deposit the plastic toy pods. They would most likely throw them away but, you could reuse them.

That one lid you passed looked like a corningware lid. Glass lids like that sells if not chipped.
Yeah, That fits a Corningware dish. Original cornflower design dishes are getting hard to find, so I always buy them when I find them.

I have both of them dishes. I buy lids always too. Pyrex bowls also have great resale too.

@HairyTornado put the "too big for gumball machine" toys in a grab bag. As a grandparent, it is cool to go to a mall like that, and pick up a grab bag for your grands.
@@HairyTornado Yes, I was dying to know about them also. :) I thought some of them might be to large but it was a good gamble you took. You'll get rid of them one way or another. Funny how the smallest things catch our attention. I agree with Karen in that it is so interesting to see how you guys keep everything separate as to what you are going to sell them as, eBay, WhatNot, your house account and now the vintage corner. I think I saw that single shoe in with your purchases so I hope you'll find its mate. I'm not trying to 'embarrass' you, but I remember in one of your videos a long time ago, before Hayley joined you, you purchased two shoes from the bins, then after you got them cleaned up, you discovered they were both for the same foot. HAHA. That is one thing I love about you two, if you do 'goof' on something, you tell us just the same. The two of you are so honest and open about everything you do. It is such a pleasure just to watch the two of you. THANK YOU for sharing everything you do with us.

I didn’t see the cross ? I would have assumed it was a cook book stand as the part you sit the book in didn’t look deep enough for a bible to me - but I suppose it depends on the size of the bible !

Those black south Carolina round trays are vintage. My grandparents had them probably from the 40's or 50s.

The Home Improvement shirt 😍. Man, you guys found lots of good stuff and that lady was so nice to give you some good finds. I helped a couple at the bins one time, they were trying to get a bunch of wooden puzzles, vintage, that the pieces were scattered around.
Just in case you care... The mini food items are Mini Brands. They look like series 3, the balls run about $5 each now with 5 mystery items in each ball. 25 cents is a great deal!

Josh, we like baskets for organizing (sometimes just for decorating) and vintage ones with lots of texture are all the better.

Growing up the gumball machines would have a golden coin. If you got it you would get something free. A good incentive to sell more gumballs 😊

Josh, you can sell one shoe to people that have one foot. Amputee people would love to buy the one shoe at half the price and have a nice shoe to wear
I’ve tried to sell single shoes on eBay dozens of times and it never ever works. I had the same single shoe purchased and returned 3 times because people thought it was 2 shoes. Even though the title said “SINGLE SHOE NOT A PAIR”. Trying to sell single shoes is a waste of time
Give it to a Vet organisation if it won’t sell

Why don't you start coloring in random gumballs higher up as you go? I think it helps you feel like you are moving up faster. All the colors at the bottom may feel discouraging.
Good stuff! You can put halves of Lego Mini figs and kids try to get matching tops, legs and accessories. Maybe even put a couple high value ones in there that they can collect. 🤙🤙
