Actor Lee Byung-hun: Academy Invitation Is ‘Very Honorable’ | NBC Asian America
I just love him and his performance as Han in Red2 was fantastic! He is also an extremely handsome man. He is very humble and so nice to see someone who is grateful for the good things that come to them in life instead of having an attitude of entitlement that others often display.
More Asian actors deserve recognition in America.
sorry but we are to busy with other important stuff
+aliu saho This is flawed thinking. I know so many Asian actors and filmmakers who are struggling to get recognition, and they're also tired of this kind of response from their own people. Art IS important. How you are represented in art matters. What we know about early civilizations is largely from the art they left behind. Ancient cultures who didn't value their arts, we have little record of. We celebrate Vivaldi, Shakespeare, Zeami, Da Vinci, and so on because of their paintings, plays, music, sculptures, and so on. Film is art. Acting is art. All of these things are important, and Asian film and theatre artists deserve more respect and recognition. I'm not saying that science and medicine and engineering aren't important, but it's ignorant to count them as more important than art. Art is part of what makes us human. And making art is not easy, nor are people who make art less intelligent. In fact, during the Renaissance and the period of enlightenment, many of the artists were also scientists and philosophers. Because art is an intelligent person's game. Your attempt to brag by belittling artists is, frankly, sickening, and it isn't helping Asian artists, so stop it.
Why divide people by race? Why does a person’s race define who or what they are and what they accomplish? That’s the very definition of racism. We need stop defining ourselves by race and start to simply see ourselves as people.

What? He's sooo handsome
I think he's not typical korean handsome. But he's got charisma even not every handsome person wont get it. If man has inner beauty. I think it shows in him.
@@windahestiecia799 Yeah I was never into the typical Korean handsome. As Asian American, I find him exceptionally handsome.
