You are rocking it as usual Katie. Such a good example.🤩🤩🤩 I feel just as you do, Youi Tube is a fun Hobby and the fact I make any money on it just blows my mind. I am always so grateful.
Thank you, Dee!! Yes, anything that I make on here is just amazing since just making the videos makes me happy to begin with. Plus the community has given me so much encouragement to meet my goals. It’s honestly amazing 🤩
You are crushing it, Katie! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for you. Can’t wait for you to break that $100K, I know it’s been a goal for a long time. Almost there! We paid off the 0% Bank of America credit card. We’re leaving for vacation in a few weeks and I didn’t want to worry about missing a due date during our absence, so it just made sense to pay it off in full. $15,450 paid since 1/5/24 and I’m so relieved to be back to 100% debt free. There’s no better feeling, and you’ll be there before you know it. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much, Laura!! I always love seeing your comments 💙 It does feel like we have been trying to get under 100K for so, so long, and part of me doesn’t believe brag we are actually so close! I’m so happy you were able to pay off that card! I know you hated to have that looking over you. Huge congrats, Laura!! 🎉
Very inspirational again! And you always give me ideas on how to be a much better steward. I need to make some goals and you told me it's not too late! Great effort and I love the way you have it on the spreadsheet and can just go there and see the changes.❤🎉❤
Katie, as always I am impressed by these numbers! You are doing a fantastic job!! $50,000 in debt would be incredible but if not your progress is awesome!
Thanks, Stephanie! Honestly this year is going way better than I expected, and I mostly owe that to extra income. With Marc getting on his call schedule, it’s really helping us accelerate the debt payoff, and I hope we can continue to knock it out quickly until it’s gone!
Hi Katie, any chance you’ve thought of paying off your Highlander first? I know your savings rate is lower because of debt payoff, but in the case your husband lost his job you can easily pause student loan debt based on income whereas with car debt, its not as easy. Just a thought, as I know there are many other factors you’ve probably considered. Loved your video as always!! ❤
Oh yes! I’ve gone back and forth several times on which debt to tackle next. You are so right about being able to pause the loans if we had a job/income loss, and I am definitely taking a risk by tackling Fedloan 5 before the Highlander. At the end of the day, I went with emotions rather than logic because I was tired of dealing with Mohela, AND I wanted the quicker win by paying off the student loan first. We will absolutely be tackling the Highlander next though, and hopefully SOON 😬 That was an excellent question though! Thank you so much for watching ☺️
Woohoo🎉 y’all are doing an amazing job. On your car loan are you putting all the extra towards principal only? Only asking b/c you mentioned being a payment ahead. 😊❤😊 Your hair looks fabulous. You actually are saving since you won’t be paying interest for years & years on debt 😊
Thanks so much, Cat! That double payment wasn’t out to principal because I wanted to get a month ahead, but I think I’ll send every thing extra to principal now that we’re already ahead ☺️
I almost wonder if you shouldn’t change your goals on your spread sheet since you decided to invest less and pay more debt 💸 off instead ? I wonder if psychologicallly it’s making you doubt your decision to focus on the later ? I think I would have changed it so it looked like every month I was meeting and exceeding my goals instead of “falling behind “ ❤ just my take ! Glenda
I’ve been thinking the same, Glenda! Not just feeling behind but also changing the goal for fedloan 5 to push and pay it off. I may do some changes next month 🤔
@@KatieoftheHouse at least consider it you are making awesome progress no matter what ! I agree it is so hard when there are so many goals … invest / save and debt reduction BUT we had only 10k in bank for the whole time we were paying off Debt cause while we wanted 6 months of save it just would slow down that debt repayment toooo tooo much !
It’s crazy how the debt payoff goals seemed like stretch goals in the beginning of the year and now you’re blowing by them, great job Katie!
Thank you!! I’m so glad we decided to make debt payoff the priority!

Such a great amount to debt in August!! ❤❤ I always love your spreadsheets and when you go over them! Love that you guys are hitting your goals ❤
Thank you, Lina! August was our best debt payoff month so far! It felt good to make so much progress 😄
Your doing an amazing job. Watching you keeps me motivated. Thank you ❤
Thank you so much, Susan! I appreciate you taking the time to tell me that! It made my morning ☺️💕
I haven't been up to date with your videos, I am here catching up today. Wow, you are hitting goals out of the park. Amazing job Katie ❤❤
Aw thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate the encouragement!

I think you are doing fantastically. Keep pushing forward. Stay the course. Great job!
Thank you, Liz!! I feel like I got a second wind and can push through to get under 100K 😃

It’s never too late for goals! 😃
Thank you so much for the kind comment, Gladys! It really makes me happy that I can help in any small way 💕
Awesome progress Katie!! ❤🎉❤🎉
Thank you, Hailey! Happy Monday ☺️
Great job focusing on Hulk SMASHING that debt!!! It's the first rung on the wealth spectrum to get past.
You guys are doing amazing Katie ! 🫶
Thank you so much! 😄💕
Happy Monday Katie!! You are doing amazing with hitting your goals especially debt pay off! Over 100% is wonderful! 🎉🎉
Thank you, Imani! I couldn’t have imagined how awesome this year would be for debt payoff! I’m so thankful that it’s going so well 😄
You're doing wonderful on your financial goals ❤❤❤
Thank you, Shannon!
Katie I am so freaking proud of you for hitting your debt goal already. I believe that you will hit 50k by the end of year
Thank you so much, Allison! I hope we can hit 50K!
Amazing!
Thank you! 😊
Wins across the board. You’ve done so well so far this year.
Thank you, Debra! I honestly couldn’t have done it without people like you who are always here cheering me on. I appreciate it so much ☺️
Katie, as always I am impressed by these numbers! You are doing a fantastic job!! $50,000 in debt would be incredible but if not your progress is awesome!
Thank you, Ang! Yes, I’m happy either way with what we’ve already done. It would be so cool to pay off 50K, but I am totally fine if we can’t 😃
Hi Katie, great job with your goals, you guys are doing well 🎉🎉

You are doing so great!
Thank you, Rachael! ☺️
Not making huge strides in our debt payoff. But steady gains. Had two Nigerian Dwarf Goats born this weekend. They’re smaller than your cats 😁
Awww that’s something to celebrate! I bet they are adorable 🥹🥰
You’re correct! Lowering your monthly “burn rate” is just as valuable during an emergency as having that cash to burn!
Thank you! I don’t always think about that, but it’s so true that that would help us, too. ☺️
Awesome job on goals. Thank you for sharing this with us. Hope you had a great weekend
Ahh thanks so much, Eva! We did have a nice weekend 💙 I hope you did, too. And have an awesome week ☺️
Great update!!!
Thanks! Have a great week ☺️
Great work on your goals!
Thank you, Tracey!
