Which one should i prefer more apsc or ssc cgl.. I have cleared ssc cgl and working but not as a Inspector... Im very confused what to do... Apsc or ssc cgl again... Please give me overall idea including work life, salary, posting.. which one i should focus more...
Being a Cental job, initially SSC CGL is better only in terms of salary, and not in terms of other perks and facilities. Very poor in terms of carde management also. In your service life, you will get hardly 3 promotions. That too, 90% of you will get 2 promotions maximum.
Who is telling you to live in a rented house? Come on, this is the prestigious Assam Civil Service (ACS). You can easily get access to quarters, bungalows, Circuit Houses, or any such Government Guest Houses free of cost. Instead of taking stress over a rented house, I suggest you focus on your preparation. And ₹4,300/- is just the allowance. You can easily use your remaining salary to afford a house. It's common sense.

Sbi po salary or asst professor salary is equivalent to ias officer but ias is an ias same goes to ACS. 😅

As explained in the previous comment, if quarters are unavailable, you will be accommodated in circuit houses or government guest houses.
