    Sweden should rebuild the old royal palace, it was so unique and beautiful. Current one feels like it's imported and just slapped there with little consideration.

    I was born in the USA, but both my parents are from Sweden, my parents split up so my dad spent the rest of his life being depressed. He had a button that said “I’m Swedish and taking pills for it”. I thought you might like that after I watched your “not a very cheerful video perhaps” video

    I’ve always wanted to visit Sweden but after watching your videos, now I am convinced I should just move there. It’s so beautiful and magical (at least to me since I live in a desert). Also, you’re so funny hehe.

    It's pretty awesome when a video literally makes me laugh outloud- and your translation of the 1000 year old stone did that for me. This is awesome. I'm in Sweden, on Gotland, and if you ever find yourself here, I'd love to do a collab! Vlogging and making videos in general is so fun but it's really special to have someone else to bounce ideas around with- I haven't had too many opportunities in real life to do that- I'm pretty sure I'm the only native english speaking youtuber on the island.

    I’m a half swede half french and since the year of 12 I love mangas and France is like the 2nd biggest manga lover after Japan and there is manga everywhere and since 2019 France got more and more diverse manga catalogs so back then I went to Sweden and was quite impressed that there was no manga…
    So then I found this sci-fi bookstore and I was so happy because they had a lot of mangas in English wich France didn’t have, but now they have quite the same series as in France so I’m buying less and less manga and also WHY IS EVERYTHING SO OVERPRICED like about 11€ a manga ? I’m France it’s like 6€ plus the cover is much prettier and the quality of the book much better…

    Have you ever considered offering guided walk tours on Airbnb? I booked one of those tours when I was in Stockholm this summer and asked a bunch of historical questions including why there’s a Germain church in the heart of the Swedish capital, and the guide couldn’t answer to any of them despite being a Stockholm local! You should totally take up the market share from those incompetent guides!

    Jag skulle bra gärna vilja veta var den här sammankopplingen mellan legenden om Sigtunastocken och Birka tog fart. Jag har bara hittat den på UA-cam? Är det folk här som tittar på varandra eller har den något äldre ursprung från när man hittade Birka igen? De äldre källorna verkar ju ganska eniga om att Sigtunastocken kom från Sigtuna och inte Birka.

    Can that log drift into some rivers and get ashore to the southern inland please? This a formal request in the name of a (probably too little to be formal) number of people to the Swedes: please come modernly colonize this bloody country with your better social systems, sociocratic organizations, conscious adjustments into equity, ethical recognition of the foundamental equality of all people's value and consequent mutual respect, non zero sum mindsets, kind pragmatism, environmental awareness, animal welfare, skills to let people respect each others businesses, approach to smart minimalism and beautiful aesthetics. Please, thanks.

      @@FishSlappee Growing up as a 2nd generation Asian (Japanese) in a majority white country, I’ve always been wary of how other people talk about Asian tourists, mainly because it hits close to home since my parents love to go on those group tours. While I admit some tourists have bad manners, I like to believe that most of them go with pure intentions of admiring the country. Tourism has opened up again, but after the anti-Asian sentiment Asians all over the world experienced during covid, I’ve been sensitive and that’s why your comment about the the time when there were no Asian tourists/groups of (sweaty) Asian tourists sounded like a dog whistle. We visited Stockholm a week ago and thought it was fantastic, but I’d feel disappointed if the locals had thought of us as an annoyance popping back up again. I know your video was in a sarcastic tone but I couldn’t help but point it out. Meant no harm in my initial comment!

    • @FishSlappee
      @FishSlappee  Рік тому

      Thanks for the clarification! I'm sorry if my mentioning of Asian tourists caused offence, I mearly meant it as a fact that there were not many tourists from Asia back in medieval times compared to today. Just a rather silly, obvious statement. Absolutely no offence meant at all ~
