As someone who works for an AI company, it's great to see the world react to the technology that is years in the making. Professional services companies, especially the more technical ones, are really on a productivity spree with AI tools. They are changing the model of how revenue is generated. Also I think Amazon should first address scammers, senseless payed product placement, products with descriptions and keywords which have nothing to do with the product, products which have descriptions and information missing, the amazon search itself as the search is an absolutely poor piece of technology. The user experience goes down the drain. They can use AI for all of the more important things rather than a chatbot and the fact they havent yet seems to show that it is not as good as they advertise.

I give up, I have to realize now that Salesforce is just something i will never understand. GAAP earnings of 6 $/s (earnings report full of accounting trickery), 60 p/e, 8% revenue growth, lousy ROIC, terrible capital discipline, 10 B$ thrown at buybacks with about a 1% share count reduction as a result, but some new AI plans and everybody loves it. Not sure if this is animal spirits or top level business judgement, but hey it works.
I tip my hat to all that foresaw this, understand the drivers and were able to make nice capital gains on this one. Clearly i fall short as an investor in comparison. I will refrain from commenting on Salesforce going forward, as me just not being able to judge this properly.

AI is so fantastic that after buying a very large local medical clinic, a VERY large health insurance used all their amazing AI models to come to the conclusion that doctors only needed 3.5 minutes to treat a patient properly. It was sooooooo fantastic that most of the doctors quit! One is actually driving Uber now as it is much less stress, allows for some socializing and compliments his investment income while keeping him out of the house. If you are healthy, this doesn't affect you nor is the medical establishment even necessary. But for vulnerable, elderly people that aren't getting the needed medical nuances, this is devastating. AI for the win!
AI is not what we think it is, nor is it otherwise. Either way, we are well on our way to finding out.
