I like it when I'm the one spotting if some fictional character from series/movies/games/etc. reminds me of my own OC. Maybe it ruins the immersion, but I'll spend rest of the thing watching that character and developing some Alternative Universe where my OC would act like the character in question. Am I too confusing? In my honest opinion character designs are really hard to make unique or original today, but how it becomes to be YOUR OC and no one else's is the personality, backstory and current story your character has going on that adds to the design. Even in the real world there's people who look creepily similar to each other without any relation otherwise, but they differ from personality and their life experiences. It makes us unique, even if we share the same name or outfit or hairstyle etc. with someone else.

Creating characters for me is natural, I can come up with backgrounds, colors, design, and whole books in just minutes or a couple days, I love doing this! I've had a character for four years now. Every time I draw him, I notice that my style has gotten better and my character is changing, physically, like he's getting older, ya know? He's one of my oldest characters, so it makes me happy to see him changing along with me.

I have been drawing for a year and created some characters. My opinion on making characters that have the same personality like its creator helps the creator look outside of the box, learn about him/herself a bit more. I tend to make random characters into characters too I'm so fascinating you can do so much hairstyles sometimes I get the feeling all my hairstyles look the same :/ and this really sucks :( so I try to use reference for hairstyles. I asked my two friends for a character and showed them like 10 hair colours xD they really hated me than and the worst part about it I didn't listen to them anyway haha. Great job like always ^^.

I actually think it's kind of interesting when I find characters that remind me of my characters. it's fun to see how other people interpreted that personality or look. most of my characters are what I think of as "staples", like every work needs someone like that. my character Adam is the biggest example of that; I see him everywhere! even in your characters lol he kinda looks like Luca, but acts like Mace :p it's really cool to me to find these similarities
