Glad to hear you're enjoying Pamukkale as much as we did! Meant to include this info in the video: Yes, we tried using recovery software to find the files. No, it didn't work. Yes, we have finally learned our lesson. We are now carrying extra external hard drives so we can double back up our files. Hopefully, this will never happen again :)
Thank you Kara and Nate for ignoring 😑...... i didn't want to sound as a creep , requesting same thing again and again. Best of luck to you for your future journey.
I was just thinking what would happen if you lost or if your computer died and what would happen to all your files. It happened to me and I lost photos of my parents while they were alive. I feel for you but having the external hard drive is a great move!
It such a beautiful place!! It is also amazing to see the cultural mix of people!! From Northern Europeans in Bikinis to Muslims covered head-to-toe all enjoying wading in the water and enjoying the incredible views!!
Believe me, I've travelled the World and seen so many countries. However by far the most diverse country for history, natural beauty and food has to be Turkey. The people are incredibly friendly and so hospitable! You could literally spend a whole year vlogging in Turkey and still not even be close to seeing everything.
You guys have been getting up early an awful lot lately for a couple who claim not to be morning people 😂 you even beat the ticket guy! We are really loving these Turkish videos! You guys have inspired us to visit Turkey next year 😁
Oh my! I never knew there was so much more than Istanbul. This is on my bucket list, for sure! I look forward to your videos. You are so joyful and always smiling. I love you guys. I pray for more videos!

At 2:53 what the guy says: Let the ice coffe go, don't drink that when there is some turkish tea (he probably don't like ice coffee) and offers you turkish tea. I'ts very nice to see you guys in Turkey btw. I was waiting for this.
Found you guys earlier this year from one of your van life videos. 533 episodes in as I watch from the beginning and y’all have sparked the travel bug in this momma of 3 kiddos 4 and under! I can’t wait to visit Turkey!!
Oh my gosh my heart aches for you. Losing all that footage in Pamukkale is devastating. That was our favorite part of Turkey too. We ended up staying there all day so we could see it at sunset, too. It was gorgeous. Feel free to check out our vlog from that day if you want to see. -Brian
I discovered you through your vlogs on Ha Long Bay when I was preparing for my ex-boyfriend and I's trip to Vietnam. It was the same place where he proposed to me. He is my husband now and we have been married for 5 months. Like you, we would also like to travel the world! Love from the Philippines 🇵🇭
You guys should write a book and do an audible version about your traveling to 100 countries, that would be pretty amazing and I'd sure as heck guy it :)
Hi the 2 of u, by all I have seen of ur vlog right now, this is one of my favourite vids. it is so full of emotions, of things happening all the way through, all the unplanned stuff occuring, rain, angels... and so on. U do a really, really good job, and we love it. ur so adorable!!! We stay tuned - please stay the way u r love from Mathias and fam - Jena, Germany
I have recently started following you guys and I have became obsessed, NATE and KARA, I enjoy your travels and wish the very best for the two of you ♥️♥️♥️💕
I can never fast toward ur vedios .i watch so many travel vedio fast fowarding most of the time. But u guys i want see more of u and what u tell. You are my favorite travel vloggers.
I've been following you off and on and finally started backtracking to this. Turkey is awesome - glar you liked it. I went to Ephesus with my family when my parents++ had a house in Kusadasi. In summer the best tomatoes on the PLANET were 10 cents a KILO. I kope to get back again sooner than later. That part of the country really has it all.
Aww you guys are just so nice, I'm Turkish but living in Australia, and your videos just made me miss my country so much, by the way You guys are such a lovely couple, good work superb videos 😊
Such a beautiful and unique place! I hope to visit it one day. Also, I’m a bit sad that I have finally caught up with all of your vlogs. Started just over a month ago and watched all of them in order. It feels like I have travelled half of the world with you. Now I have to wait for your next vlog like a normal (not regular 😉) person... Can’t wait for your Sweden’s and Caucasus regions’ vlogs! Have a great time in Canada!
Been enjoying your content and adventures. Not 100% seeing the live read ads, but do understand the need for funding your trips. Just don’t loose sight of your originality. 💕
One of our favorite places in Turkey. Even though we had a hotel room in Kemer, we opted to stay at a small hotel overlooking the cotton castle at night. As you did, we explored the ancient ruins that we found thanks to geocaching. Otherwise we would have missed it. Canyon exploring in a wetsuit at Goynuk was amazing! So many other places I could mention!
This might suggest an issue with a cable (if it's the external we saw on the video a couple days ago), or an issue that running Disk Utilities on your Mac might find. I'd run a diagnostic or two and make sure that everything is ok. SD cards seem to have a life-span issue at times as well, and with all of the tough places you guys go, you might be seeing a natural attrition of some of the SD cards through use and exposure to a number of different issues (sandstorms, rain, etc.). Great video as always!
I love watching your vlogs. Sorry to hear about your video, but stuff (not the word I wanted to use) happens. And, we seem to learn valuable lessons from our mistakes. Y'all look like you’re having so much fun. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. Take care and keep vlogging. You guys are fantastic. - gloria Florida, U.S.A. fan.
Ahh guys, that sucks that you lost your footage!!! We totally agree about the Amphitheatre, it really was the best we have ever seen! We preferred Hierapolis to Pamukkale as we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves unlike the Cotton Castle. Also we learnt afterwards that the lack of water in the natural pools is due to the Hotels and Spa's below redirecting the water down to them instead of the pools! We also heard though, that every two or three days they have water, so who knows! If you ever feel like seeing Hierapolis again, check out our video on it 😜😉🙏 Thanks for sharing as always! By the way we also love Turkey and spent six weeks hitchhiking there earlier this year and two weeks last year! There are so many amazing places to visit and there are an abundance of ancient cities that hardly anybody knows about! We camped in one right next to an ancient amphitheatre, it was incredible! The people in Turkey also made our experience so enjoyable they are the most 'misafirperver' (hospitable) people in the world that we have met so far! Our drivers were all so generous inviting us for meals and to their homes to sleep, incredible!
Timezone Junkies Wow that sounds amazing. I am one of 5 million turks living in Germany. And its sad that you know more about the country where we came from than me. I will def. check out your channel.
Wonderful video once again. Thanks for the illustrations for the rest of the people who havent had a chance to visit these wonderful places so far. I'm a Turkish thats a shame I haven't been to this place yet! =) Amazing video, keep posting your awesome work guys! =) Love ya!
There are so much more in turkey you need to come an visit turkey again🙏🏼 The black sea area (Karadeniz) or the beautiful ocean in antalya, fethiye, didim
Love you guys, Looking forward to see you in Turkey again. Just like you love Turkey, we love you back and ps. İzmir has great beaches next time you should see and enjoy them too. ❤❤
When I tell people Turkey is on the top of my list they get so turned off thinking its dangerous but I cant believe that with such beautiful people and places to see!
I was in Istanbul many times. I feel much safe in Istanbul than Phoenix Arizona. Specially people open carry their fucking gun go to same public toilet makes me very nervous
I once thought I had deleted all of our photos from our Honeymoon to Costa Rica! I know that like dropped stomach feeling it's the worst. :( I'm so sorry! Keep on keeping on guys! Thanks for still sharing what you had. Loved it!
Thanks again...My student's liked your previous video....I told them to subscribe. Hopefully you will garner a new audience....15 and 16 year olds.....Nate - Gotta extend your product life cycle. Also another MBA(er) here. and don't forget your 4P's
Wonderful...as a priest with deep interest in the early church and esoterc spirituality i was able to meet many clergy from orthodoxy and priests. Who led me to hidden chapels where we said mass and prayed where the apostles went .
Hello, a few weeks ago thanks to coronavirus, I found your channel and totally enjoy that. That said, I am so sorry your harddrive had issues, and you couldn't show the rest of your experience. That said, little over a year ago (April 2019), my friend and I traveled to Turkey just to go to Pamukkale. We rented a car from Antalya and drove a few hours to reach Pamukkale. We did stop at a few places and went to some little mountain city that probably had no tourist to get a bite to eat. Had some best dessert items ever, was like sesame butter (similar to peanut butter), with honey and this sweet pumpkin. Anycase we made it to Pamukkale which we stayed at this night hotel which cost 45 dollars a day. Included breakfast and had some nice thermal pools. We stayed for couple of nights. Anycase our adventure at Permukkale was sweet, we went in the morning, now being beginning of April and being in mountains we were worried it would be cool, which it wasn't. We got there at same entrance you went to, and for the first few hours, no one was there. Now here is a more amazing thing. I was able to get some drone footage. Prior, we had asked hotel staff and they told us no problem. When we talked to the security person he had no issue with it. I was totally surprised. Anycase we loved the water. That said it seemed that the further up the hillside you went with pools, the warmer it got. Were as ones at the bottom which you were at in video were still cool, midway up they were warm and high up nice and warm. There were croweds there by noon, but they seemed to go for the most part, only halfway down before going back up to their buses. We had a great experience there and was the main reason we went to Turkey. After this stop, we went to Isreal and hung out at Deadsea, even saw an island with a tree in the center of it. Anycase love your travel stuff. Best wishes with Cororna Virus. Side note, I right now work in Guam. If you want to see something cool and take an interesting flight, take the island hopper from Hawaii to Guam/visa versa. Stop by some Micronesian islands, and see such sites as Nan Madol. Or go to Palau, and see jellyfish lake or Peleu (one worse pacific battles in WW2 took place there), or go to Yap and see stone money and experience YAP days.
we done the ephesus and pamukkale trip from icmeler and if i can remember right we where charged £50 each for the 2 day trip staying in pamukkale over night . we returned over the mountains through denizli . the scenes where fantastic .

So wholesome.
Edit; if you want vulgarity check out BOY FRIENDS
Absolutely agree!
Right on, they show wholesome fun can be just as joyful

When I tell people Turkey is on the top of my list they get so turned off thinking its dangerous but I cant believe that with such beautiful people and places to see!
Loreal Ruiz why dangerous ? Hahaha. We live in turkey and we are so happy and relaxed. Turkey is paradise. Its safety palace 👍🏻😊
I've lived in Turkey for 16 years and I'm from the UK. Believe me i feel safer here then in the UK!
I was in Istanbul many times. I feel much safe in Istanbul than Phoenix Arizona. Specially people open carry their fucking gun go to same public toilet makes me very nervous

My daily fix of travel vlog. thanks guys. love from South Africa
I read "The River of Doubt" a few months ago and LOVED it! Teddy Roosevelt was the man.
You guys are the best advertisers! If I owned a business I would def be getting you two to sell my stuff! ✨❤️✨
