Try Domaine Arlaud or Domaine Ghislaine Barthod 2020 Bougogne if you can find them...they may change your mind about the vintage despite it being too early in my mind to drink these

Agreed! I've had some good Gevrey Chambertin from them, and the previous vintage of this Bourgogne Rouge wasn't bad... So yes I think it is a lot to do with the vintage.

I must admit that from your experience to date, 2020 is not a vintage I will be trying for some time (if ever). I wish I could just stick with 2017. (still have a bad taste in my mouth from last nights BOURGOGNE HAUTES CÔTES DE NUITS "Clos des Dames Huguettes 2018 Far too sweet and not in a nice way!
