      I've been through the 'bonds are beating stocks' periods since the 90s with no bonds and with all aggressive stock mutual funds.
      At 66, my IRA and cash accounts are far more than I expected for my retirement. I can easily handle a worst-case 80% stock crash, Thanks to my CFA.

      Thank you! 🥂
      We're definitely getting closer, but our FI number has indeed increased due to our expenses going up as well over the past 12 months. We're currently spending an average of 2.060€/month as a family of 3, so our FI number now stands at 618.000€. A lot of it is an increase in non-essential expenses as we've become more relaxed as our net worth is growing. I'll talk about it in more detail soon though :)

    Thanks for the great video. Could you do a video focusing on how you export your Flatex data into Portfolio Performance, and then into Getquin? I think there’s space to get a low ot views in that regard as there are not many resources for that in english.
    I personally invest in only 1 ETF but wanted to better visualize my portfolio with those tools as the info Flatex gives us is less than ideal.

    • @AngeloColomboFi

      My pleasure! Thanks for the idea. For now, under Post - Dokumente you can download all the executed orders (Kauf Fonds/Zertifikate) as PDFs and import them directly in PDF form into Portfolio Performance, which will then import all of the purchase data. You can then do a csv export from Portfolio Performance into Getquin - that's what I do with all of my brokerage accounts

      No, sorry about the confusion :)
      I simply stopped buying additional ETH, as I'm not as convinced about it's future compared to Bitcoin, as there are many technically superior projects for its use case at the moment (eg. Solana). I'm holding on to my ETH until the end of the year and I'll then decide whether to sell or not.

    Angelo, thank you for the video! Unrelated question here, about having more than one broker: apart from having a place to move stocks in case of a broker going bankrupt (knock on wood), what are the benefits of having both say tradeRepublic and IBKR accounts, for someone investing in an single ETF available on both brokers? I understand that more sophisticated things can be done on IBKR, but the flat fee of tradeRepublic + interest on noninvested cash + cashback is kind of a interesting deal, no? I speak from the following context: I've just started investing this year, and had a certain amount saved. In that case, don't I save on fees by lumpsum investing in TR, and then setting a savings plan? I feel that I might be missing some important perk of IBKR. (I'm based in Spain).

    I completely understand your reasoning for investing in all world etf. I mean, its logically sound. That said, for a while now I was pretty invested (no pun intended) in China's history, custom and most importantly - its politics and social issues. This is exactly whats preventing me from putting a cent into their economy so im staying with SPDR msci world for now.
    Does anyone feel the same?

    I've created 2 bond ETF positions, with an total allocation of approx. 15%, as rate cuts are expected to drive the price of up. Also, I was lucky enough to have some spare cash at the time of September dips, good opportunity to consolidate my FWRG holding. Time to look at some more speculative investment opportunities 😈

    Hello Angelo,
    Have you considered that, in an accumulation phase, a macro-area strategy, compared to an all-country world strategy, allows for accumulation in cheaper regions, thereby enhancing returns during the recovery phase?

    • @AngeloColomboFi
      @AngeloColomboFi  3 дні тому

      The problem is, you don't know for sure which region is going to grow more and if things go wrong, you might end up massively underperforming the market as a whole in the end

    Hey Angelo Congrats for another evidence based episode! I just wanted to ask when the acc version of Vanguards FTSE ALL world is going to reinvest the dividends? Cause the distributing version payed them out before almost 1 week.
    Thanks and keep going! You are amazing!

    • @xcreighton
      @xcreighton 4 дні тому +1

      The ACC version of the FTSE ALL WORLD invests the dividends „automatically“.

    • @AngeloColomboFi
      @AngeloColomboFi  4 дні тому +1

      Thank you! The accumulating version reinvests dividends throughout the year, raising the ETF share value by that amount over time instead of paying it out in cash to us investors. Not sure if there are any fixed dates when that occurs like with the Distributing version.

    • @dio2470

    Great video analysis Angelo! Do you think Trade Republic's 3.5% (or maybe less in the near future) will still be a good way to keep cash savings from losing value?

    • @AngeloColomboFi
      @AngeloColomboFi  4 дні тому +6

      It really depends on inflation and interest rates. If rates were to drop below 1-2% again at some point, then your cash is definitely losing value on an ongoing basis (assuming an average inflation of 2% p.a.). Until then I find Trade Republic in its current form to be the best & safest option to earn interest on my uninvested cash without taking on investment risk.

      SPDR MSCI ACWI (0.12% TER)
      Invesco FTSE All-World (0.15% TER)
      SPDR MSCI ACWI IMI (0.17% TER)
