Oslo > Winnipeg just fits into the sub 4,000 distance band (from which the redemption chart says flights in business class on partner airlines should cost 60,000 points). So it's as cheap as it can get dynamically. Does that many any sense?

I might have done similar method in the past, but ended up not taking the low points as per the chart's distance band because the low aeroplan points option forces me to have an unnecessary stopover + longer transit time and sometimes also flying with air canada rouge instead of the air canada. Finding the balance of shorter flight time and low aeroplan points is very tricky. :(
