Hunger games and dune part 2 look good?
True true.
We rely on computer graphics nowadays. F*** the acting and story line.
People like Elizabeth Taylor, Humphrey Bogart, Richard Burton and many many others from the days of old will be turning in their graves by now.
Who wants to tell Meg 2 creators that T-Rex and Megalodon missed each other by more than 40 million years?

This is just horrible to watch.. I'm so happy that i'm a VHS/DVD collector, and I count my self blessed going in to this new world of "change" with more than 6000 movies in my collection...
Never thought of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles like they were a particular race, but this trailer has me thinking they are black in spirit.

I would like to see a quality director take on 2061 and 3000 of Arthur C. Clarke novels. I read a few years back Tom Hanks was having talks about doing them but nothing came to fruition. It would definitely take a director with some imagination and not be afraid of the challenge.

Hanks's best years have come and gone.
Also most people who have seen 2001 don't even realise it's a series of stories or that a film of 2010 even exists.
If anything what I would do is redo 2001 in a style more like 2010 - and then see how good of a reception it receives before making the rest of them.
2001 is an amazing art house film - but little else.

How ironic the former snow white would play in a movie with the most famous dwarf actor at the same time when the snow white movie fails to hire dwarfs for its dwarf roles..

Jules is nice. I watched it twice in 24 hrs. Usually I take years in between. I want to watch it again...
The only good movie in e bunch is a remake of an old movie- Dune. The original was really good but they didn't have the technical capabilities to really do the story justice back then. They made up for it with really good dialogue and great actors- great direction. It was an awesome movie- but the fx were super cheesy. That said- the industrial feel of the Baron's ship- they got that part perfect. The lack of technical capabilities actually worked to their benefit in this case, I think.
Glad to see someone thinking the same. The lost of the rest of these collection i will never see. The Meg2 and transformers i will as well
