When CJ said "We just need to clean some things up", we ALL know he meant #78, Laremy Tunsil. The highest paid O-line, a veteran, is playing messy, undisciplined ball.
We have some great things on this team, and.... we have some guys that don't belong here. It is exciting to see what we can do and hard to watch when players are not on the same page with the team. hang in there folks they will continue to get things right.
The last drive of the game Proves that we can move the ball And score quickly on drives…as long as there are NO penalties pushing us backwards!!! 🤦🏻♀️
Genuinely curious what the culture of the team is? To me it’s a “have fun ball out” atmosphere but when you got the o line doing what they do and the secondary getting bailed out by bad qb play, someone’s gotta bring the hammer down on this young team.
I'm going to say something that probably some people will disagree with, and that's okay. I think at times, Slowak is trying too hard with the play-calling. Those long-developing plays don't have to be every throwing down. Bobby's already all but assured a head coaching position next year. He doesn't need to pump up his resume every play. Go simple and quick some of the time.
LT is the root of the issue. When you’re captain and most veteran O lineman and he can’t take accountability and is a constant liability via penalties, I wouldn’t be surprised if his way of going about things didn’t spread to the younger guys
Remember when Kubiak could just go out there and seemingly find no name guys who could run with the ball? And find linemen that could block and not jump offside? Was it that easy?
As bad as ppl think the def played they still held the jags under 21 which jags are on a streak of not scoring over 21 and stopped them on their last 3 to keep the gm close
I feel like our offense isn’t running on all cylinders like it doesn’t feel as explosive I would of thought it would be considering the pieces we have and penalties during solid drives stop our momentum we would build in a couple drives then get like 2-4 straight penalties and we shoot ourselves in the foot
We do have to clean these penalties up but on the bright side, we did this without Tank Dell, and Joe Mixon on the offensive side. Finished 3-1 in first quarter of season, that's a great start. Time to get healthy and wake up. The games get harder going forward.
It's still a Larmie Tunsil problem. He's a captain and senior member of the offense line. Correct? Well start by taking ownership of the O-line and stop the penalties. If he's not going to do that then appoint another captain that will. No more excuses left for that position group for the rest of the season. Tunsil with his lackadaisical attitude towards team, pride, the fact he's getting paid a ridiculous amount of money to perform. He's molding the rest of the line into his likeness and attitude. HOUSTON HAS A MAJOR PROBLEM and if the don't nip it in the bud it will fester and grow into a cancer than will subvert all the good Demico brought last year. Do we want a repeat of the Bill O'Brien days? If you fail to hold the whole team ACCOUNTABLE for their RESPONSIBILITIES then you suffer the CONSEQUENCES. CASSERLY THIS IS BECOMING A GM PROBLEM. Please fix it🙏
Don't like talking about if's if texans had no penalties they would of blown the jags out if the defense sacks Trevor if we had a better running game we won period a win is a win
CJ has an unbelievable ability to throw for 350 and literally not have a single ball in danger. Amazing

Man CJ is sharp

The penalties are killing the drives
The penalties are eating the dogs, they’re eating the cats…
Yeah this is bullshit 😂
Tunsil eats dogs and cats?

How good does that Nico Collins extension look now!!!!!!!
Relax it’s just week 4

It feels that way because the Minnesota game exposed a lot of problems.
I swear this game was too close for comfort
It’s a div game

Honestly if that one guy hadn’t missed the catch on the opening kick this game wouldn’t have been this close in my opinion

Stroud had 345 yards abs 5 guys had a 20+ yard play.

Number 12 is the best in the game.
This should have been a bit of a blowout. Penalties were better this week but still haunted us.
why was that not a safety
He was at the 1 yard line when the tackle started. Forward progress is why he was ruled down at the 1.
Nice Jesus pose in the thumbnail.
Wtf bro

Is that Case Keenum?
Yes
Tunsil is a sunk cost
We gotta clean up the line man
We are playing struggle games, Texans gotta stop wasting time and get rid of LT,still getting penalties!!
Between the Texans and the Aggies this is gonna be a long fall 😂😭
The only people that wanted to lose the game more than the Texans was Trevor Lawrence.
Lawrence broke a nail give him a break.
Doesn't Cj stroud sound like a choach
3-1 feel weaks, doest feels like they where they were last year.
HOUSTON IS NOT GOOD ENOFE YET
Watching CJ is great, listening to him not so much . . .
Hater
Then just watch. He's here to play QB. That's it.
🤡
