Have you ever tried the Divitt practice mute? It's had very good reviews.

Yes - I reviewed it in another one of my videos. It's a nice mute, super easy to play - but not the quietest on the market. That being said, the volume is perfectly acceptable for most situations that you'd want to use a practice mute.

@@JoshRzepkaMusic yes, with practice mutes it's a trade off. Very quiet with back pressure or not so quiet with hardly any back pressure. I find with the Divitt mute you can back pedal on the volume to an acceptable level.

The video looks as good as those trumpets sound! Thanks for counting on the new EOS R6 for the job!

Thanks!! 🙏🙏 I'm thrilled with the quality, it's a huge step up from my 70D.

What's your opinion of the Trumcor Lyric Stealth?

Hi David, I've played it before, but not extensively and I don't own one. It is a great mute (as are ALL of the Trumcor mutes - I've yet to play one that wasn't excellent), so it would probably be an excellent choice for a practice mute. I'll feature one in a video here eventually.
