Solomon’s temple dedication prayer asked YAH to always listen to his prayers and the peoples prayers when they face the temple and pray, even when they have been defeated by their enemies because of their sins, and taken to the lands of their enemies. (1 King 8:28-30, 33-34)
Daniel model faith and obedience in YAH while in Babylon by praying three times a day facing Jerusalem (Daniel 6:10). YAH saved him from the lions pit and he prospered during the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
