I like how the Aria's got enough going for it that its not just a super strat copy. Love the short vault segments too!
Love your channel. Thanks for cleaning up and detailing affordable guitars
Dude let’s hear it!
My backup guitar to my 1976 Les Paul Standard tobacco burst in the 70s was a 75 Aria pro II Les Paul with two uncovered black humbuckers. the guitar was dark navy blue, it played great but was lighter than my gibson and the pickups were much brighter. i do not have that guitar anymore since 1980. 47 year old aria guitars were pretty good with fat neck. thanks for the video great video. just for info my gibson les paul 76 cost 560 bucks, the aria was 250 bucks. nobody could afford 2 les pauls back then from gibson. thanks Larry
I have the RS Wildcat you briefly showed bought new in 1982. I am not keen on the neck profile but the sound is unique and to die for.
Im fixing up an old Aria pro II stray cat. it was black but had a ton of chip and dents. So i sanded it down and stained it Emerald green and am giving it a tung oil finish. I had to replace the saddles on the act 3 tremolo and i replaced them with some floyd rose saddles with the retainer blocks instead of that wierd flap thing on the act 3. And im considering putting in a mix match set of pickups a super nice sounding carvin mt22 and a SD pearly gates plus.
Love this Zimm! I'm such a sucker for a single HumBucker guitar.
The first guitar I bought brand new in 86 was the Knight warrior with a Kahler flyer with a string lock above the nut
Can't go wrong with a vintage Aria Pro II. I really dig the XX & ZZ series. Also, Everly strings are the original brand of Cleartones strings company. Cleartones still produce Everly strings to this day.
That was my first guitar in 1986. It was a bit heavy. It was also probably not set up at all. I think it had 3 pickups.
That Wild Kat looks like the Aria Knight Warrior series from the same era.
I liked that Ibanez 505, wish I had that in a lefty.
Merry Xmas. I like the video already...
I have an aria pro 2 strat, that has a sunburst finish and a maple neck, very well made budget guitars, the pickups were not the greatest, but the body is from the bread board 80s era, that's what they called this faze, guitars that showed off the wood grain, mine was trying to copy a 50s strat and it only has a three way switch, this bread board era includes Neno Bettencourts first signature guitar, a short time in guitar history when they were slapping together, unfinished wood to make body's, hence the bread board era.
I have a bit of a thing for the aria cats. I keep hoping to find one locally so I can get a decent one. Too spooked to buy one sight unseen without being able to check the truss.
Really Cool Guitar Dane 🔥🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼
I don't think that they made these past the late eighties, but I'm sure that someone in the chat could state that definitively.
Everly owns Cleartone Strings.
Really dig the Baretta style layout. Anybody wanna trade childhoods? I definitely missed out on the 80s.
Sorry Tyler, no. The 80s were great. See you in the next comment section ✌️
@@davidkastin4240 Don’t blame ya man. Seems like my dad had a blast being born in ‘70. See you tomorrow!
🤟😁👍Another interesting and entertaining video by Zimm's Productions.
Glad you enjoyed it
