How comfortable is the default saddle? I just ordered motobecane fantom Cross Uno and they have same saddle so I am curious. Your response will be helpful.
Not sure why they didn't put the 4130 emblem on the streetfighter. went to the picture on the BD site, and the SST shows it, but not on any of the streetfigher pictures. It must have been a style decision to leave it off. But, the specs for the streetfigher definately say "100% Chromo" so it has to be 4130 because they aren't using 520 which I think is a slightly more expensive chromoly. Both are Reynolds steel.
I see on bikes direct they got the kilo wt, it’s a nice bike for the wide tires for gravel, I just don’t like the price , what’s the widest tire you can put on the dawes?
I also thought about that. I never tried it but it just might fit 32, but it will be very close. When I was looking for tires, I went with the 30's since it's very close to 32 and I knew they would work on the bike. I'm glad I did because I really like the way the bike rides with them.
@@moparchargergang2050 I took a look at it, it's definitely a nice bike. Mercier makes good stuff. It does seem a little pricey for a singlespeed. But there are $800 singlespeed bikes like Wabi and Cinelli, etc. You can get a 24 speed Motobecane Reynolds 520 steel with Shimano Claris components for $499. I changed the tires to 35's. The 45's were a little to big and have to much resistance. The way I use it is mostly pavement riding on roads that aren't to bad so the 35's are perfect for that bike.
Is 30 the widest tires you can fit there ??? Or can we go a bit wider????

You should look at the kilo wt cafe the tires go to 45
