please make 4 or 5 more videos on shape language. this was educational and fun.
Thanks for the lesson.
Your channel is truly so helpful! I plan on going through each video on my art journey. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience on these concepts!
Triangle lol! It's so true regarding that last part with the birds. While I'm still learning, animating characters and keeping consistency (on model is a major problem for me) I'm finding that simplifying everything to those basic shapes helps me to keep track of where I am.
It's really comical to me that one of the best ways to get better is to go back to the beginning.
Love that you are back and actively uploading :D
Not right now. I would like to do some classical stuff on posing, and gesture drawing. But, I'm moving out of the animation department at work, so I don't have a harmony license.
As a rule of thumb if your audience can not determine who it is by the characters outline then you don't have your character visually defined enough. Funny that you mention cartoon Saloon, they primarily use Moho as their animation software. I've been learning Moho 14 as of late and it has probably the best budget friendly vector animation software out there. For hobbyists or professionals I like the fact that it is a perpetual license and not rent-ware. I am super exited about their liquid shapes in V14 as it makes VFX fun to play around in.
That's interesting! I've seen some cool Moho stuff kicking around. If I had all the time in the world I'd love to sit and play with all the different software kicking around and do a real comparison.
