But there were power ups that helped mario, luigi, toad, princess peach, rosalina and the others to escape bowser, the broodals, koopalings and bowser jr. If we get a Luigi’s mansion I’d love to have Princess daisy in there as well, it could make for a fun dynamic with Luigi and daisy trying to anything in a haunted mansion setting and could be a fun twist on the Luigi’s mansion series for a theatrical release, as Luigi’s mansion has a lack of Princess daisy.
Agreed 100%, especially since Daisy, confusingly, wasn't in Luigi's Mansion 3.

Introducing the Koopalings seems a good idea. Though whether Jr would appear too is anyone's guess. Wonder if they'd keep the birth order the same as the games, or do their own thing like the cartoons did.
Oh they definitely need to introduce Bowser Jr. in a sequel at some point as this version of Bowser is currently missing a LOT of redeeming qualities and introducing his son can give him a least one redeeming quality.

On another note, a Yoshi's Island film could work, if reshuffled slightly to focus on Baby Peach and Yoshi saving... let's say Toad... and the Stork from Kamek or whoever the previous Koopa King was. Maybe in this universe he's actually Bowser's dad or something.
Here's what I thought of for such a film. Baby Peach arrives in the Mushroom Kingdom and is raised by the Toads. But she arrived on the day that made her a part of a bigger story. As opposed to having Kamek as the villain like you'd expect, the main villain in this piece would be the previous Koopa King, let's call him Morton Koopa Snr, so as to explain why the other Morton is called Jr. Morton Snr is much like his son Bowser in many ways, except he's played less for laughs and comes across much more serious. The guy could be inspired by the biblical King Herod. In the sense that perhaps he'd heard a baby from the Mushroom Kingdom who entered the world that night would grow up to overthrow him. It isn't specified which baby the prophecy speaks of, so he orders for the Stork to be captured, along with every baby in the Mushroom Kingdom, to stop it coming to pass.
The Toad who Peach had befriended is snatched accidently while the pair are exploring Yoshi’s Island. (the Toadies who did this were actually after Peach, but she managed to evade them) A native Yoshi witnesses the incident and offers to help Peach save her friend. They journey across the Island, and battle King Morton’s forces when he discovers the baby he was after is on that island. It ultimately results in Yoshi and Baby Peach, who is indeed the one destined to overthrow King Morton, reaching his castle and defeating him, fulfilling the prophecy and unintentionally paving the way for Bowser's rise to power, as well as explaining how Peach and Bowser first met.
I think it sounds like a good idea.
This film was miles better than I expected and I especially loved all of Bowser's scenes.
I feel that they are most likely going to do a Yoshi related film based on what we saw in the post credits. But I would absolutely love to see a Luigi's Mansion film as giving Luigi center stage would balance things out and it would also just be amazing to see the mansion and all the ghosts on the big screen. I really hope we get to see the Koopalings and perhaps B. Jr. as they are among my most favorite Mario characters especially Iggy Koopa.
I know that they will probably never do this, but I really really wish we could get an Earthbound film as that would be sick, but I'm not sure if it would be a kids film though, especially with the horrifying presence of Giygas, but all this is most likely wishful thinking.
I think another great idea would be a Paper Mario film. They have so much material to work with.
nintendo has loads to work with for sure, although stuff like earthbound is unlikely because its not that popular
@@drwily That and it's not a well known game series, not to mention that Mother 1 and 3 were Japan only releases aside from English translated emulators. It definitely deserves more appreciation for what it is imo.
There definitely is a fan base for it but it's not big enough unfortunately.

Here’s my idea for a super Mario sequel. Bowser escapes from princess, peaches castle with the help of Bowser Junior, and the Koopalings. While Mario and Luigi return to the mushroom kingdom, during the Star shower festival. When now both Mario and the gang must fine the superstars before Bowser and the Koopalings get them. Epic new adventure featuring Mario, Luigi, princess peach, donkey, Kong, toad, toadsworth, Yoshi, and Professor E Gadd.
Since Foreman Spike was in the movie imagine a prequel involving the Mario Bros days working at Foreman Spike's Wrecking Crew Construction Company. I loved Spike in the film and would love to see More of the character

My takes on these ideas.
Yoshi's Island: Not a bad idea. This could be a good opportunity to go more into depth on Mario's origins as well as Peach's. All Peach herself could remember was arriving in the kingdom as a baby.
DK movie: I don't think Seth Rogen is that bad. This movie is highly rumored, and I think it makes sense. There were a lot of Kongs in the DK scene that need fleshing out.
Luigi's Mansion: Definitely needs to happen! I agree full heartedly with your idea! Charlie Day himself would be down for this!
Wario and Waluigi: I mean, sure I guess. But these two should get proper introductions in the sequel first before getting their own dedicated film.
Mario Galaxy: If they do a Galaxy-based Mario Movie, I hope it's not an exact adaptation of Galaxy's plot. Make it more unpredictable. And as opposed to Wily's idea, I'd rather the villain for a Galaxy movie NOT be Bowser. Or at least not the MAIN villain. Maybe Bowser could be upstaged by a more powerful entity as a consequence for his actions or something, maybe to factor in a lesson that you shouldn't mess with power you're unprepared to control. Also, this whole idea may be a bit too early for the SECOND movie. There's still a lot more of the Mushroom Kingdom home world to explore.
Mario Kart: I think Mario kart is better off as a segment in the movie. I don't think an entire movie dedicated to it would work.
Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games: No! Just no! First off, the movie rights to Mario and Sonic are currently owned by completely different companies. Second, Nintendo and Sega would need the license from the Olympic committee. If Mario and Sonic ever really were to crossover in a movie proper, it should be a PROPER crossover! Not a sporting events series that would feel like the characters could be replaced with random people and nothing would change! Hell no!
Super Princess Peach: If we got a Peach focused movie, I think it should be a prequel showing her rise to power in the Mushroom Kingdom, how she became as strong as she is, and how she first met Bowser. I think it's ridiculous that Peach apparently beat the obstacle course on her first try. She's gotta have gotten her skills from somewhere. This would also be a good opportunity to show off Peach's more personal side. We never saw her use her parasol or bake cakes in the movie; two common traits associated with her.
Super Mario Land: I'm down for Daisy and Sarasaland to be included in a sequel! But maybe don't base the ENTIRE sequel on this game. Mario games nowadays barely ever make references to this game, and Sarasaland and its elements don't make up the core identity of the Mario brand. So basing the entire sequel on Super Mario Land may alienate general audiences.
DK would be a great idea. If Bowser was such fun in the Mario movie, I'd expect King K Rool would be laugh out loud hysterical in a DK film. Or imagine a Galaxy movie where the Mushroom Kingdom gets caught up in a war between the Lumas and the Shroobs.
@@adamcronchey7264 I highly doubt Mario and Luigi, or any RPG characters will get involved in these movies. Nintendo seems to prefer that the RPG elements remain separate from the rest of the Mario franchise (I know some Paper Mario characters have appeared in Mario Party games, but those were exceptions, not the rule, and its not done so much nowadays). And there have been no references to the RPGs in the movie. So yeah, no Shroobs.

You're forgetting about Bowser Jr which he was in Mario Sunshine. I believe a sequel will involve Bowser Jr and the Koopalings since Bowser is captured.

@@tk32502 They should be antagonists first before teaming up with the good guys. Otherwise, that would mislead the casuals into thinking they're good guys when they're not.
I think the Wah! Bros should be the instigator of the plot in the sequel, perhaps breaking into Peach's Castle to steal from the treasure room, only to encounter tiny Bowser. Or, it could be Bowser Jr. saving his dad. Either could work for me, but I'd love to see those crazy duos bros in a film.
Ooh! Another idea! The dastardly duo could impersonate the Mario Bros and do some terrible things in their name or something, maybe somewhere where Mario and Luigi's names have arrived before they have. Could involve Sarasaland and Princess Daisy, it'd be fun!

The Super Mario Bros Movie was really good. I liked Bowser so much that I even brought some peaches to sing with him ☺️☺️
Here's my pitch. So since Yoshi is DEFINITELY going to be in the next movie, what could happen is that Yoshi could hatch and Kamek frees Bowser. To prevent Mario from thwarting him in the present he goes to the past to steal him and brother from his crib, and also Donkey Kong from his, while also being the cause of Baby Peach's entrance into the Mushroom Kingdom, however Baby Mario and Baby Luigi are separated from Bowser's grasp because of Yoshi from the future interfering and they have to work together get back to the present. However Kamek has a hold of Mario and Luigi's hair, from those hair follicles he creates *WARIO AND WALUIGI* where we get to see Baby Waluigi for the VERY first time. They try to use them to stop Baby Mario and Baby Luigi but hijinks ensue. They serve as lackies but also comic relief. In the end, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Yoshi manage to thwart them after learning their athletics, and Baby Wario and Baby Waluigi come back to Brooklyn making an alternate timeline where they grow up with Mario and Luigi. Baby Donkey Kong's subplot needs development, possibly how he learned to be a showboat.
oh yeah because when Bowser meet Luigi he pulled his mustache hair and I thought Wario and Waluigi where childhood rivals to Mario and Luigi and we want bowser jr the kopalings to help kamek save bowser in his cage

I honestly could see them doing any kind of movie and knock it out the park like a punch out movie, the art style already works and there's that reference in the super mario movie. I could also see them doing a sequel in where they adapted super mario sunshine and introduce wario and waluigi having them frame the mario bros.
I could see us also getting a Luigi's mansion ,super princess peach and donkey kong spinoff with each spin off expanding the world and seeing more of these characters. I could also see us getting a mario galaxy movie too, Would love if they bring more classics villains from the games like the koopalings ,bowser jr ,king wart or tatanga or any of the villains from the rpg games or find more ways to adapt the spin off games like the party or kart or tennis games.
I could also see them also doing a smash bros crossover movie similar to the live action chip and dale movie or who framed roger rabbit or ready player one. different art styles for different video game franchises and would be a fun way to play on mario and sonic's rivalry ( think the subspace emissary mixed with thor ragnarok and avengers endgame). Tho I know its unlikely it will happen it still sounds cool

Most of the voice actor's I found are easily the best choice while others a bit tricky but again if you would like to review this actor's for Bowser and the Koopalings this is the best ones I could find.

So we already have Pokemon movies. Not just by 4Kids, but by whoever took over after them. Plus a detective Pikachu movie. So unless Game freak signs off on it as well i doubt it'll happen. Especially given how buggy this latest set of games has been. As for new movies, im definitely on Charlie Day's side. Luigi's Mansion movie. Though I'd love a Zelda movie too as by the time they get to it there will be 20 games in the franchise with the 21st possibly in production

No doubt there will be a direct Mario sequel, but I would like to see some spinoffs. This movie left with plenty of places to go with other characters. They can easily do a DK movie. They can make a goofy Toad movie. Personally, I would absolutely love a Luigi's Mansion movie. We already got a small taste of that when Luigi first landed in the dark forest. Not calling it a Mario shared universe, but they can totally do a Mario shared universe.
Then of course Nintendo can adapt their non-Mario franchises like Zelda and Metroid.

The Subcon Mario USA Sequel Route - is the best choice:
An evil weak jealous frog prince stealing a dream machine from professor E gadd gifted to the kingdom of Subcon and using it to change into a monster called WART to take over All other kingdoms and Subcon as the antagonist would be an ‘epic second movie’. Wario is mostly a rival that would fight with Mario to distract him from his goals. I see Wario as more the sequels version of Donkey kong. All of Warts Main henchmen including Birdo is a must. However, I think the 7 Koopalings should be saved for ‘the third movie.’ For a major trilogy climax with Bowser returning. Still I disagree with people dissing the Subcon world idea.

Waluigi can't even make it on the smash Main roster. What Make anyone think they gonna make a movie on him? I doubt Wario even make a appearance in these movies. If he does it gonna be whit his own cast of characters which doesn't include Waluigi.
Everyone so hard on Luigi mansion being the next sequel when it clear that not gonna happen. LM not that popular of a franchise it only had three games in the past twenty years. There not enough to make a movie nor a series of movies to keep people entertained long enough for more.

As much I like to see a SML movie I don't think it will happen given how Nintendo egnore the games outside of Daisy. Nintendo probably doesn't want Daisy in the movies cause she will outshine peach for the fact she a real tomboy.

I wish movies would stop having post-credits scenes, forcing me to stay to the very end where 90% of the audience have gone home, which isn't fun. Also about the Luigi part, I like the idea but partly why I loved Peach in the movie is that she had more of a mentor / ally role than a damsel in distress. So I'd think if there was a Luigi spinoff with Daisy, she'd have to have a similar role.
Well doesnt have to be, they can also make daisy more damsel in distress, nothing wrong with that, its better than doing the same thing again, and it would force luigi to man up
