Hi. thanks for your video! I learned some. So the pvc is 1/2 inch..but the hole saw is 1 1/4. Is there a reason why the saw is bigger than the pvc? Oh..I just realized..the bulkhead is bigger than the PVC pipe. hmm....when you buy bulkheads, does it say what size hole saw is necessary?? Kinda confused...I wana make a pond
keyair123 It should be listed in the product description. The larger size allows for the wall of the fitting. The hole required will always be bigger than the pipe it is made for.

AquaponicsNYC is there a guide that shows the drill size needed for the fitting as per size the fitting somewhere?
keyair123 I just picked up some 3/4 inch bulkhead fittings off ebay. You will find it in the product description. 1 5/8 for 3/4 inch fittings.
