- Ren is a very talented singer, songwriter, producer, rapper and multi-instrumentalist. He is a member of The Big Push Band and also has played together with various musicians and buskers. He is a very well-known face around Brighton’s busking scene and has been performing to ecstatic crowds for years, with early beginnings in the music industry coming when he was discovered performing on the streets of Bath, as part of indie-pop band Trick the Fox.
Despite having built a loyal fan base, due to health issues, Ren was forced to halt his music endeavours and move home to Brighton. During what he describes as ‘a time of isolation’, Ren was bed-bound for years having been diagnosed with Lyme Disease.
After channelling his frustration into song writing and producing from his bedroom, Ren is now going to do an specific treatment for the disease. Once he is 100%, he will be ready to share more of his amazing music/art with the world.

Friday afternoon and on my way back to work, I found Gorran, Romain and later Ren, with a great singer called Liv, busking in Brighton seafront. Check their other videos out in our playlist. Amazing busking day!

Her journey from 2010, when she first picked up a guitar, to now, has led her to playing open mics, performing for people one on one and busking around Brighton, UK over the summer. About The Big Push: Brighton based band The Big Push consists of three front men Ren, Romain Axisa and Gorran Kendall and drummer Glenn Chambers. Drawing elements from classic brit-bands like The Beatles or The Police, they craft their clever modern arrangements into catchy pop tunes.
Playing rock n roll, with a crazed kind of energy and authentic sound, The Big Push met busking in Brighton. Coming from four fairly different backgrounds, they have managed to create an authentic and original sound. The four-piece sold out their first ever official hometown show at Chalk last October, and followed up with a full-capacity o2 Academy Islington headline in March 2020, just before lockdown hit the UK.
Over the last year the boys have created quite a buzz both nationally and to more worldwide acclaim amassing over 1.2 Million streams on Spotify and 12 Million views on UA-cam. Having achieved such staggering success online, their fanbase now reaches across the world.

I think we have a real connection . Ren . I too have been on a discovery tour of musical genius . From a Bass player that picks and thumps like my Fav. Flea from RHCP. Then he takes his guitar and plays what I call a musical opera with the trilogy . And when the last 2 sentences. That's when I cry . Okay just to prove that nothing stops him he then writes a piece for his lost mate Joe , and brings all my Brother's to red eyes too. I just hope that Ren hears t his ' You needed to be a Sick Boi because. How else could you have begun to become a healer . And your words would have helped thousands of injured 'physically and mentally' to see people find some solace . God Bless

I only discovered Ren 2 days ago on TikTok with the hi ren reaction vids and I’ve watched his music vids his ten rapping style is brilliant excellent his stories and the way he tells them I knew he could sing too at the beginning of hi ren the vocal chords he does are testament to that , then I’ve gone on and discovered his busking vids absolutely brilliant artist and performers I think the big push band and Liv and everyone I’ve watched ten sing with they could all as a collective headline Glastonbury with that superb music, I’d like to watch these performances I’m a fan of all I’ve heard I can’t believe I’ve never heard anything of their music until now I’m glad I have.
Could watch this on repeat every day and never get tired of it - simply sensational in every aspect. The joy of finding such creativity as I have found from a number of new artists (at least to me) has really restored my faith in real music.

When you are in pain 24/7 you get to a point that even your clothing touching yojr body causes pain waves to overwhelm you. That is when you start taking your clothes off or wear clothes that are 3 sizes too big for you. Welcome to chronic pain.
