    Excellent video brother!! As usual your explanation is as clear as the 4K video you recorded in, which I highly appreciate! I watch UA-cam videos on my television where I can take full advantage of 4K videos. Keep them coming!👍🏾

    Great stuff, as always, Cue. I don't use my truck to tow in the bed. It's too bloody high for a one man operation for me. Keep up the great work!

    Thanks for the video Cue! I was asking you about. I noticed it’s completely different story in my case. To unload the bike. The front wheel holder is keeping my wheel so hard and I should ask help to unload my bike. I was thinking it’s a kind trick but probably there is no trick.:)). I believe it is something wrong with my trailer. I’m going to find out. Thanks for the video again.

    Thanks for the video, I watched the load and unload video. The part that is a little hard for me to tell is that oh cr@p moment when the bike is partway up/down the ramp and your feet are farthest from ground because the front half of the bike is up the ramp but the back half isnt up on the ramp yet. I suppose this depends on your inseam and seat height, but how bad is it on this trailer. On my utility trailer its a horrible moment and you have to have a little speed either up or down to get you past that point, which of course makes the whole thing a bit ugly if you are moving fast enough to not worry about that one little spot in the loading/unloading.

    • @RidingandWrenching
      @RidingandWrenching  Рік тому +2

      I'm 6'1" so it's not too bad for me. The trailer tends to flatten as the bike rides on the ramp. I'll cover that in my next update video. I think you have to maintain your speed going into the trailer. It's a little unnerving the first couple of times, but you get use to it

    Cue, another nice video. How level does the trailer have to be to your vehicle. Does it matter if its slightly higher. I picked up that 04 kendon double trailer. I told you about in another one of your videos. I been working on it getting it ready for a Florida trip from NY. I replaced the seals in hubs, repacked bearings, new tires and rims, torqued everything down to speck. This way i start off fresh, then do my yearly maintenance. I also welded on a jack to the front, so if i needed to use my truck, i could jack trailer off ball, and drive away. Leaving bikes and trailer behind. With someone watching over them. Just not sure about hight of trailer when hooked up, if it has to be dead level. Thank you Cue, enjoy the ride

    • @RidingandWrenching
      @RidingandWrenching  9 місяців тому

      I need a jack for mine too! That's a great idea. Make sure you have a spare tire.
      I have towed mine with an F250, Ford Ranger and Ford Edge. I keep mine fairly level no matter which vehicle I use. I'm not 100% sure why that's important, but I do it anyway

      @@RidingandWrenching harbor freight sells a weld on jack, I think it was a good idea to put one on, I welded it on right to the hitch. When we are traveling I will take it off and put in truck, I don't have enough room to lock it into a horizontal position. Yeah I'll try to get it as close to leave as I can. Thank you Cue, for getting back to me.

    Hi! We bought this trailer used. Since I don’t know much about towing, what is the tongue weight when you load your Harley street glide? I believe it weighs about 880? I have a hitch that can withstand 400lb tongue wt and 10k tow wt.

    • @RidingandWrenching
      @RidingandWrenching  8 місяців тому

      I have no idea what the tongue weight is. You might want to check the Kendon website for tow ratings.

      @@RidingandWrenching I know! there are not cheap! I live in utah and I want to ride my cvo deluxe inside arches national park. @@orangewhip115 I love my trailer. It doesn't take up a lot of space (I don't have any to spare!) it is very stable on the road AND it's not as heavy as an enclosed trailer, so it doesn't kill your gas mileage. Make sure you order a spare (or buy one from Home Depot). Also make sure your lug wrench works with the lug nuts on the trailer.

      @@RidingandWrenching Thank you for the video:) One of the things noted is that the wheel chock is not properly adjusted, you have it all the way up to the front and that is the reason the wheel chock is not holding your bike. You will need to move it to either the middle or even further to allow the bike's front wheel to sit properly inside the wheel chock rail.

      @RidingandWrenching  Рік тому +1

      You should be able to change the hitch ball mount if yours is too high. I don't know the height of my truck hitch (it's 2,000 miles away!) It's probably 2 ft or less.

    Have you tried hauling a full size bike on trailer using a bike cover that is ratcheted down? Your thoughts. Thanks and great job.

    • @RidingandWrenching
      @RidingandWrenching  2 місяці тому

      I don't think the cover will survive the trip. The air would likely tear it to pieces. I tried a seat cover once. It didn't last long. Traveling at 70+mph creates the same amount of wind as a hurricane. It would take a strong cover with lots of straps to have a chance. It would take less time to wash the bike at your destination
