Thanks for the great review! We hear ya on the suggestions and are playing around with solutions. P.S. Looks like we put the incorrect lock nuts on your ramp, they're supposed to come with thin nylocks, you got the regular ones. We'll send replacements.
I just purchased the same trailer and added the center chock as well but Kendon assured me that the trailer is designed to carry a bike on either side. I trailered my 2019 Harley Limited from South Florida to Pittsburgh and the trailer was awesome. I had my bike on the right side instead of the center chock and the trailer tracked perfectly. I have the same experience with the chock seaming to be too wide to hold the bike but I did manage to get it centered but I still had my cousin and wife secure the front of the bike before I got off just to be sure. The issues that I had were the drivers side tail light stopped working, the threaded part of the "T" tie downs came out of the handle so I put Locktite on them and screwed them back in the "T" handles, and only one spare tire lug nut was supplied( I guess that there should have been two). There were a few screws that I had to tighten(that is the fault of the dealership that assembled the trailer and not Kendon's fault),and one of the caster wheels somehow got chewed up a bit. I called Kendon because I did not get the free cover and about the few issues that I had and Xavier was more than accommodating and also sent me the cover at no charge. I have been driving the poor guy crazy and He is wonderful. Great customer service.I highly recommend the trailer.
Great info and I am glad you are happy with your purchase! I still have a few things to go over with mine and tweak for my set up but I am extremely happy with it so far! I am going to do a very detailed check out on it next weekend as I will be headed to Sturgis in a few weeks and will be able to really see how it does on a long trip. Ride Safe!
Thank you for making this video. Were you concerned at all about distracted drivers rear-ending you becasue the Kendon does not have a typical tall tailgate with elevated brake lights, like you would find on a typical enclosed trailer?
I’m not concerned about distracted drivers while pulling the trailer. Every time I have pulled it so far, there has been a motorcycle on it. It does have really bright LED lights on it so I think that helps. Also, the trailer is really short so it’s really not sticking out behind the truck to far. I have another video coming out on Fri the 18th that may be beneficial to you if you’re considering purchasing one of these trailers. Ride Safe!
Thanks for the video. Is there a place to store the ramp pieces on the trailer itself while driving? I'd be towing with a jeep so no room to store them in my vehicle. Thanks again.
Great review! I have a Kendon single trailer. I damaged the light on my trailer and couldn't figure out what happened. It's possible or that the highway peg ripped the wires out. My wheel chock sucks. I actually dropped my bike on the trailer because my foot slipped while stepping off the bike. On the single trailer, it's not wide enough to put the kick stand down. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated! .....I watched your videos on your trailer and that is what led me to purchase the Kendon. The NEW wheel chock set up Kendon sent me helped a TON and the bike feels much more secure in it. Sorry about you dropping your bike, I know that could not have been a good feeling! You may want to reach out to Kendon and see what they can do for you around the chock situation. Thanks again!
@@tacoontwo the California license plates are car-sized. I drilled new holes and attached LP to the outside - but the license plate ripped off! Fortunately I still have it but need a new way to attach.
Blue Loctite will solve your bolt problems. Move the lights rather back/down the fender and the pegs should go over them. Why did they build the trailer with three different "walking" surfaces? Why did they use that elaborate twisting and bending of tubes between the extruded metal and the tire? That creates a very irregular and slippery surface in a location where you need maximum stability to load and unload your bike. The ramp is the same way with no traction where your feet have to brace the bike.
Hows the tacoma pull the kendon? I know its not the best tow vehicle but given this trailer i'd hope it rides like the trailer is unloaded. You've got some heavy metal on yours, mine are 400 pound sport bikes.
The Tacoma pulls the trailer very well with no issues whatsoever. I just pulled it over 3700 miles over the last 2 weeks. Check out my review on the trailer that is scheduled to upload Friday morning for a long trip review.
To be honest, I haven't pulled the trailer enough to be able to do a real honest review on how stable it pulls with one bike vs. two bikes. Once I get some more miles on the trailer, I should be able to give you a better answer. I can say that so far, I don't see any difference with it. Before I purchased the trailer, I spoke with Kendon and was told that it was designed to be able to haul one bike at the time if that is all you needed to haul with it. Anyway, I hope that helps....BTW, I really enjoy your videos!
@@tacoontwo I have a kendon 2007 double trailer I have three harleys but trailer one of them. If you have one bike on it you will wear that side tire of the trailer. I modified my double to a single by removing one holder and placing the other in the center. much easier to load and pull.
i got a stinger, no issues love it

@kendonindustries…..Thanks for checking out the video. I look forward to getting the correct bolts in place and hope the review helps!
Thank you for the great review!
My pleasure!
Appreciate this vid as I’m looking for a bike trailer. Think I’m gonna bit the bullet, buy once cry once, and do the ZPro. 🤞
I think you would be happy with it

Yes….there is a place for you to secure them while the trailer is in tow. Ride safe!

That diamond plate stock is typically 0.063".
Thanks for the info!
With this 2up Tailer can you position the Motorcycle in the middle if you're only pulling one?
you can if you purchase the center wheel chock but you will have to drive over the tiedown loops.
Any issues with the License Plate? Did anybody get the license adapter (I did - came apart on 2nd journey).
No issues. The DMV let me use one of my old motorcycle license plates so I just drilled another hole and attached the LP that way.

I agree with the irregular walking surfaces…makes no sense.
YOU COULD OF TAKEN THE PLUGS AT THE END OUT OF THE OLD ONES
The tubing sizes are different. I definitely thought about it!
