The HDMI supports ARC so you can plug a soundbar and subwoofer in it for better sound. If you want Bluetooth sound it has sound delay because inbuilt BT4.2, so use google chromecast with tv in hdmi and use Bluetooth from that to the speaker for good sound with no delay.
This little machine creates a very large and nice looking image. For a image like this, you've to pay thousand of bucks ten years ago. And today there is so this technology in such a sweet little plastic body. When you consider that this little thing "only" costs 169€, it's really impressive.
A few years back, I would discount a projector solely based on inexpensive price as they would hardly serve more than 480p for this price. Nowadays, it's a great budget cinema experience
Yes, i know what you mean. My way to projectors started with this 240p cheap ones you can buy on wish. 9 years ago, one sunday morning i purchased it just for fun. And i could see that a big image can make much fun. But not with 240p. So from this i owned a lot of projectors. Till now i got no tv's in my home any more. If you once learn to enjoy 120inch screens, than you can't go back to little 50-70inch mouse cinemas.😅 due to its size I wish this model will get a internal battery. Or the possibility to use it with a power bank. Then it will be the perfect traveling buddy
Thx for your ideas dude's. But meanwhile i purchased the nebula capsule 3. It's a real four in one device. Projector, Bluetooth Box, internal battery and offical google tv. That perfectly fit's my needs. Only 150bucks more than the wanbo. But the wanbo is also a nice device. And i don't know why, i want to have it also😅😅😅😅 i'm totally projector addicted 😅😅😅😅
Thanks for the review! I was just wondering if the Netflix app on yours is native to the projector? I had an update which removed Netflix and now I’m required to use the “mouse to navigate” rather than being able to use the track buttons. Cheers!
Is it possible to install a custom Android TV version on this? Im just worried that maybe after like 5 years Android 9 could stop being supported for like UA-cam and Netflix :(
Do you know a similar type of projector that can be used in a room with lights for briefings and also capable of showing presentation in graphics and words
If you have office type lights, you will need something that is really bright and that gets expensive really quickly. My starting point would be 1500 ANSI lumens and at this poing it's just shy of going towards laser short throw projectors
Is there a problem on the system time on this device? Does it reset the time everytime you turn off the device? And it seems to log me out of netflix everytime and can't log in my youtube account?
This device has Android 9. Max (hbo go) does not work anymore. When you plug a chromecast it does not have sound anymore. After 5 months a yellow spot appeared on the image. Does anyone have fixed this issues? Not happy with the purchase. It s cheap but so many issues and I cannot find someone that can help me solve them
Good day! I am looking into buying this projector and i saw you have plex can you please do a test for me? Can you tell me if you can play 1080p movies on plex with .x265 so i can be sure before i buy?
@@notenoughtech i have a nas that doesn't have the power to transcode so i need the projector to be able to play it directly without the Need to transcode

It supports x265 videos. The native usb media player supports both x264 and x265 in 4k resolution. The downside is it doesnt support dolby audio like AC3, EAC3. But you can install VLC player to get the dolby sounds
Thanks for the review. you're the only one who showed there are hdmi input r/g/b color settings, which are very useful to adjust white balance directly on the projector. I'm leaning towards wanbo x5 because it seems to have better optical system (sharper corners, less vignetting), but this one is also nice at about 50-60% the price.

Oh yeah, that's another option for audio

@@verschepard i will get type-c to dc converter and try. It looks like 5.5*2.5mm jack
It's 19v so you could use a 60w powerbank and USB pd decoy to feed 20v it should tolerate this

Piece of advice, get the one with the focus wheel, it will let you project at 120+ inches at the cost of pixel gaps.
This also has manual focus
Hey is there vlc app available to use with 4k videos through usb as the native player doesn't play all the 4k video ?
You can add all apps as it runs Android - either sideload it or via store, I haven't tried VLC as I use my server to transcode stuff for me

Sounds like it restores the default settings

In theory yes, but in practice its the same amount of hacking that you need to do with unlocking bootloaders on your android phone

Have you tried to factory reset it? I haven't noticed it myself. Do you unplug it or it happens on soft poweroff
how is gaming performance ? Is that good for 1080p 60 fps
There is a gaming section in the review please watch it

Digging into the sound settings on Chromecast helped me.
Yellow spot could mean matrix is overheating, provide it with fresh air.
@@vadnegru this was never an issue :(
You must selected audio stéréo with a chromecast, no dolby audio , if you want sound

Not at all, from what i heard. I ordered one today when it cames i Can give you a feedback.

This one is nice for the price you pay for it. But if your budget allows... then definietly go with better optics
