- Guitar Tutor Mikey Ferbrache brings you his version of the mammoth Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne! This song comes straight from Trinity Rock & Pop's Grade 8 Guitar syllabus. This song involves a number of techniques, including fast palm muted picking, right hand tapping, and fast bluesy style licks.

I’m an eighth grade guitar player and this makes me feel bad about myself
its grade 8 for a reason, in the UK we have different grading systems so its not 8th grade level the grade 8 means its around like an A grade
duudeee! those pulloffs. I have been learning for a year. Fascinated by those pulls 😍
Doing this one myself for grade 8. This is a great example of how it's played. Spot on
Hope you passed.
This is definitely the tightest version of this track for the Trinity gradings I have heard. Bravo
Brilliant guitar playing.
This is one of the most popular songs with my grade 8 students. I'll send them over here to check out your top performance! :D I've got a series of videos about guitar improvisation for Trinity Rock & Pop on my channel to help out students too!
People.often underestimate how hard it is to play!
Rockweller from Singapore here, love this song! Totally love the Trinity Rock & Pop Syllabus!
Flawless performance!
Absolutely brilliant!!
Sounds amazing really inspiring
Very great representation of the balls & punchy that the Duesenberg has. I keep explaining to people, that rather than cranking your gain to get overtones & sustain; try setting the gain on low & allowing this semihollow to do that, as its capable to do so on its own fue to its design. As a result, the tone is not drowned by gain. Thus, the punch & balls of the Duesenberg shines through. You had some tasty moments in there as well🤗
When you hit that almost end riff with that delay on it I watch you clench your jaw and probably said to yourself, F@#Kin Eh, "I hit that"...good work and keep on keeping on...!
Amazing guitar playing you rock😄!

What guitar, amp, pedals are you using for this grade 8 rock and pop exam? Or what budget gear would you recommend for grade 8? Does guutar gear matter in the exam or the examiners only evaluate our timing, feel, dynamics, techniques, does the guitar gear and guutar tone carry weightage in the exam?
Yeeeeeeeeeah :)
