He's great, along with Richard Thompson and others...
Lovely to see this incredible guitarist sharing these techniques. Thanks so much.
As a self taught, this man is a pure genius of guitar and composer and more
A living Genius !!
Fantastic class Steve. Everyday you show for us that you are much more than a big star, you are also an amazing guitar player and have a deep knowledge on strings of any nature. Congratulations for your excellent video and thank you so much to invite us for learning your techniques!
Thank you Steve for this inspiring lesson. Gonna practice that right away !
Love this man
Thank you so much for the video Mr Hackett. You have just shown me another reason why you are my inspiration to pick up the guitar and why you are my favorite guitarist. I dream of you being my guitar mentor some day ;-)

The nail on his thumb must be made of titanium!
IS THERE A BETTER ROCKER ON A CLASSICAL GUTAR THAN STEVE HACKETT?
lionel martin Steve Morse, Chris Broderick, others too. But Hackett is good and was doing it a long time ago.
cany argue with steve morse... seeing the bdixie dregs in april.
Have been a huge Genesis fan since the early 70's but I never truly appreciated just how talented Steve Hackett is. it's really great now having the opportunity to re-discover hime
@@jfo3000 Yeah Hackett was definitely one of the earliest rock guitar players to incorporate classical guitar into his repertoire
When it comes to actual classical guitar playing, Steve Hackett probably contributed to classical music more than any other rocker. Albums like Bay of Kings, Momentum, A Midsummer night dream and Tribute are the ultimate proof of that.
He is a great electric guitarist...and he's far better as an acoustic guitarist
Triplets would be a canter, not a gallop. 😊😊
All of this absurd talent ignored in Genesis...
That’s what I learnt on as a kid, my dad’s nylon classical guitar. It’s amazing what you can get out of them when you try. I learnt Zappa licks, Steve Hillage tunes, Yes and Genesis and King Crimson and Rush and Bowie and Mahavishnu Orchestra and even Led Zep and Black Sabbath on that guitar!!
