Without a doubt, he's the most underrated player in NBA history. Dude was unselfish and didn't care about stats, but still ended up 9th All-Time in post-season scoring (ahead of legends like D-Wade, Larry Bird, Hakeem, Dirk, Magic, Pippen, Chamberlain, just to name a few). And on that post-season scoring list, there's only 3 guards ahead of him (Jordan, Kobe, and Jerry West, all of which are SG's, meaning Parker is ranked 1st all-time in post-season scoring for PG's...yet his name is rarely mentioned when discussing the great PG's of all time)
I miss the trio of Ginobili, Parker and Duncan. Their era is over but their names and what they have done will never be forgotten. #BIG3 #DUNCANGINOBILIPARKER
Heart melting moment for tony, coach greg and the spurs fans. Time is so fast. I remeber those days when tony, ginobili and the great tim duncan leading the spurs to nba championship. Salute guys.
Since the 90s, Spur is the only team playing with real basketball strategy and old school skill with love and respect. Pop is a good coach, old school style
My cousin works for the organization. They are planning a kind of museum like walkway with bronze statues of all Spurs retired Jerseys. If you've ever been to the ATT center....it's already like a spurs museum lol. Cool place.
Its very emotional feeling for his fans to see the final seconds when he s holding ball to end the game.... Too much good memories u brought to us, thank you...
Eventually he will get standing ovations. If the Raptors fans learned to stop booing and give ovations to Vince Carter then I have no doubt that eventually Spurs fans will do the same for Kawhi. It also seems like Pop and Kawhi have been trying to make an attempt to make things right. Time heals all
Nah fuck that. Kawhi basically quit. He refused to play despite being cleared. You think the Spurs org doesn’t have competent doctors? Really? The star THEY FOUND who wouldn’t even be in the NBA had the Spurs not picked him up and developed him into the player he is today. Spurs were prepared to build the future around him. You think they would risk playing their man off a faulty medical clearance. They were going to max contract him out. Kawhi simply didn’t want to be in SA, but instead of finishing out a season like a man he bitched out in one of the least professional displays of sore sportsmanship ive ever seen. Literally the shittiest. Couldn’t even be bothered to cheer on his team in the playoffs. NBA may be business but there is good reason Kawhi will never be treated as a hero like Tony. Because he isn’t. Bitch made.
One spurs legend wanted to leave and the spurs organization wanted the other to leave. But y’all cheer tp and boo Kawhi shouldn’t you boo your organization too?
@@H0lyPh3n0m i think you have misunderstood the whole thing, Spurs had no room for TP to play assuming Dejounte was healthy and they also have the young reserves like Derrick White and Bryn Forbes as the back up. That's why they have sent him to Hornets who just signed with former spurs assistant coach James Borrego who desperately needs a vet PG as the back up PG for Kemba and TP can have more play minutes. Don't get me start with Kawhi please.
Billy Ya and Kawhi had no more room for the spurs b.s. with trying to force him to come back early from injury. Then being disrespected by his teammates to the media, and multiple former spurs players foh That’s some sht you don’t do
@@H0lyPh3n0m to me i think it was lack of communication between both parties, if you look at how spurs have been resting TD and Manu throughout the season late in their career, it is hard to believe that Spurs won't take care of Kawhi the same way. He's just a guy doesn't wanna talk and once he realized that Spurs med team had misdiagnosed his injury, he/his uncle found a reason to quit.
Hommage complètement mérité. Et cet osmose avec le public de SA .Ce que TP à donné depuis son arrivée est exemplaire. Que du pur bonheur.
The spurs fans knew that love and respect and appreciation of one who was once their own that night was bigger than the loss. They took that L but at the same time they celebrated one hell of a player. No bad blood.
Tony has a father, a good one, who at one time was the leading scorer in European basketball playing in Belgium (where Tony was born) and then the French Parisian League. Toni Kukoc finally broke Tony S's records.
He is the one of the most underrated players in NBA history.
Christian Isaac honestly he is not underrated lol! True basketball fans know. TP before 2010
I'd go as far to say he is the most underrated. Tony plays extremely efficiently, he doesn't care about getting the highest stats.
Christian Isaac Him and Manu

He should have retired a Spur who’s with me
Oh he will.
Yeah he will return. Jus Like dwade

He will most likely return on his final season. Or he can go the Paul Pierce route and sign a "ceremonial" contract allowing him to retire as a Spur.
