I would be Heaven shopping in the garment district!!! A dream come true!! The only real fabric store that is available to me is Joanne's. It has a very limited selection of ugly, expensive fabrics.Thank you for filming your shopping adventure!It so exciting to watch! I always love seeing your Mother and her beautiful garden. I was thinking about a month ago I miss seeing your Mom and Dad. It's like I know them even though I've never met them.

I loved all of the material you purchased. It was fun hearing what you planned to make with each piece of fabric. I think your plans do sound amazing! I really liked the fabric that was black, white, and purple with squares shapes (rounded edges). Your ITY fabric prints are beautiful and I love the border prints included. Really every piece of fabric was so beautiful... the small red and black houndstooth will make something so classy. i look forward to your year fashion show. Your joy is contagious! I've made many trips to the fabric district in Los Angeles since I live here, but have not been since the mid-2000's. It is so easy to over buy especially when you do not have to worry about packing the purchases in a suitcase. I would fill up my SUV every time and since my sewing needs at the time required many yards of the same fabric, I purchased 30 yard bolts at a time. Lots of fabric! My sewing needs have changed so now I buy smaller amounts for the various projects I create plus some clothing fabric for my wardrobe.
Many years ago, when I lived in Santiago, there was a stunning little shop in Providentia near Suisse, which had the most beautiful fabrics. I wonder if it is still there. Love to you and your family
